Surprisingly great wings. Definitely not a place for kids, but the food is amazing! The servers were great with having the kids there, and was very attentive.

This is Ellet’s neighborhood bar. Formerly the«Last Quarter» — it’s across Triplett from the Rubber Bowl and the Municipal Airport. Regulars have been going here for years, but the current management did some excellent upgrades when they took over a few years back — most notably the garage door they inserted in the front and the«tiki bar» they built on the front patio area. Service and food is top-notch, the crowd is a great mix of people and ages, and everyone is friendly. Highlights(aside from weekends) are Karaōke on Tuesday nights and Dollar Domestic Bottle nights on Thursday. With the garage door and tiki bar in front, smokers can be part of the bar scene without being banished outside in a separate space(weather permitting). They have a new internet jukebox and it’s great — the sound system pumps out nice jams too — so when thing get rolling you’re sure to be feeling it. While this is a fun bar, I would suggest that they think of doing a Ladies Night(maybe on Wed.) to get some more women in the door. While there are usually always some to be found here, there are also times when the place is a real«sausagefest» — lots of jokes, back-slapping, and good-natured debate… but that is no substitute for the gaze of a nice-looking woman on a barstool. Mind you — there are women in here(including some nice-looking bartenders) — but they could do even better if they tried — it’s a nice place. Be sure to check it out — one of the better spots on the East side of town.
