Art Sails of Alameda

This is a hidden gem in Alameda. Quint the owner of the shop is a superior hands on Craftsman with decades of experience.
We recently brought valuable pieces of artwork rolled up in a tube to Quint. We had removed them from their stretcher bars and carried them from another country.
Quint provided guidance counsel and great care in assisting me with selecting the perfect frames and mounting designs for each of the pieces. He spent over an hour with me to ensure I was happy with my choices.
He said it would take about 3 weeks but all were done in 10 days. He even fixed one of the 5 for free by spraying it (this one was small and we were able to transport it with us in the frame). A simple spray of water on the back of the canvas tightened the sagging canvas like magic and the painting was good as new.
His prices were VERY reasonable as our artwork is very large and the stretcher bars very long.
I wish I would of used Quint and his shop before in the many decades I have lived in Alameda.
Ignore the 1 star review it’s simply not true.

I’ve been going here for years — at least 25+
Even though I moved to Antioch in 1998, I still take my paintings to Quint to be framed. He takes the time to help me design the perfect frame for whatever picture it may be. He has framed canvas prints, oil paintings, old pictures, posters and more and they all turn out perfect!
My co-​worker just picked up another awesome looking frame today! (1÷16÷2015)
I find the prices to be very reasonable and the workmanship excellent!
I won’t go anywhere else!

Not good. Pricey. Sloppy.
