If I could give negative stars I would. Took over 1.5 hours for 1 mile delivery. Puked all night from food poisoning. Order from fortune cookie at your own health risk. Plenty of good restaurants in puking distance from this restaurant. Granted if you ate here you could puke for miles! Also they have a problem speaking and understanding English. So if you speak the language, of the USA, you may need to visit a different restaurant.

I’ve been ordering delivery for about 8 years now. My experience has always been great, prompt and delicious service. My family, friends and guest love this place. They don’t skimp and the dishes I’ve tried has always been quite good! I give them 5 stars because for 8 years and not have one problem they deserve it!

I like your fortune cookie restaurant delivery but the last time recently that I got food delivered the man got upset that I didn’t tip him and he even came back and left a note in my mailbox that he didn’t get a tip and I didn’t know that I was supposed to give one I thought that was just implied with him delivering it I didn’t know even how much to give and he went out of his way to actually put a note in my mailbox so on that I don’t think I’ll be ordering food from you guys again over a misunderstanding or mistake taking it too far.

Was coming here regular for a while. Like I said before, cheap and ok on basics. Last couple times, the usual things we order came out SUPER salty. Called to complain. They would not believe me. They wanted me to bring the item back in(i live on east end, place is in west), and even have someone come to my house to drop off a new one and pick up old(this was already at 8pm and I just wanted to be done with it). We had ordered 3 dishes and 2 were ok, so it’s just one that I wanted a comp for the next time. They refused after I explained numerous times to look up my phone number and see that I’m a regular. They hung up on me. Lost a regular customer.

I tried Fortune Cookie since they delivered and my main stay Chinese closed(rent went up). The delivery was quick, the veggies in my veggie chow mien were fresh, but everything was really bland. I got the BBQ pork with no sauce, it looked OK but tasted like a refrigerator. I had to doctored up the pork fried rice and chow mien. The sweet and sour chicken was a little heavy with a tomato paste taste, and mostly breading with no vegetables. Won’t be ordering again, should have just cooked myself.

I just received my order 30 minutes late which was unusual as they were always prompt before. Then when I opened the bag was missing items that I had ordered which were companion items to what food I did get. Also since the food was late it was no longer hot and the fried food was not good. Called to let them know and just to credit my cc. But instead they delivered the missing items after I had already ate the companion item. Very frustrating.

It’s your basic cheap Chinese food place. I don’t eat meat, so I get sweet and sour tofu and it’s really good. The lunch specials are a good size for a good price. If your on a budget(i.e. College students) and love Chinese food this place is perfect. Also a plus is there’s no delivery fee if you live on the main island

Inside is pretty dirty, walls and soda machine etc. That just tells you how dirty the kitchen must be. They have potential to be better they just don’t.

The food is solid. This is the problem… Me: Hi I’d like an order of chicken chow mein FC: Lunch special? Me: No, just chicken chow mein please, for pick up. FC: Lunch special, ok for pick up Me: No no, just chow mein FC: that will be 21.80 $ Me: No, no. No lunch special… ugh, nevermind.

I ordered veggie fried rice and kung pao tofu yesterday. There was a piece of beef in the kung pao tofu, the fried rice was plain and msg like. Horrible food and cooking. This is one of the places that don’t give a crap how food taste for customers. Never coming back and the waiting area is dirty as a landfill. i wonder how the kitchen is like.

Ordered from this place via EAT24 food app. Ordered: Sweet & sour shrimp wish was horrible. The shrimp was almost non existent in a huge chewy batter like coating. Yuk Sesame chicken was nasty too. The sauce tasted unauthentic and that too was in the same thick nasty batter that the sweet and sour shrimp was in. Chicken wings weren’t even good. How does one ruin chicken wings? They were skinny and tough to eat . I ordered rice too but they forgot that with my order. Didn’t matter because I ended up throwing away most of my meal anyway.

The food was delicious! I had the chicken & eggplant, and the Mongolian beef. The delivery came very fast. I would highly recommend it.

OMG… found a cockroach in my wonton soup!!! When I called to report it, they did not sound shocked or surprised, just offered to exchange it. Like I would ever eat anything from there ever again! I fed this food to my child! I am beyond disgusted. DONOTEATHERE!!!

I grabbed some food on the way home from work. Got some chow mein, seafood soup, crab wontons and king pao prawns. The food is decent and the staff was friendly. I met my expectations for Chinese take out and a quick meal. They got my order together pretty quick but they didn’t give rice with the kung pao prawns? Not sure if this was an oversight or if they actually charge for rice along with an entrée. Overall, not a bad experience and I’d go back again.

Avoid at all cost. The food taste terrible. The meat used in the won ton was a more than interesting was it «fancy» meat? They should rename the seafood soup Tofu and fake crap soup because that is what you are going to get

Bland. Bland, bland. Not bad, just — no real flavor to any of the dishes. Luckily I have multiple sauces at the house. In their favor, the meat is well cooked, the veggies are plentiful and fresh.

Heed my warning… do not eat here. This would be fine if you had a Chinese craving and there was nothing else around. But alameda has plenty of good Chinese eateries. This is not one of them. I will start off with the positives: the food came to my house so fast that I couldn’t believe it. That was awesome. Also the ordering process was easy. The negatives: the food was not good at all. The rice tasted dry like it was reheated. And the most surprising part, I didn’t like the shrimp. I ALWAYS like shrimp. Even when it’s bad. Their honey walnut shrimp tasted like it was dipped in mayo then fried. The beef with broccoli was extremely chewy and gross. I’m not a picot guy, I like eating anything. So this is saying something! Save yourself and go elsewhere

YUMM. This has become our main take out place for Chinese. The food is solid, fresh, and flavorful and the prices are excellent. We’ve gotten delivery a couple of times, but we live close by, so we usually just swing by and get it to go.

I’ve been eating Chinese delivery food my whole life and know the difference between general chicken(ordered extra spicy) and sesame chicken(doesn’t even have a «spicy» icon on the menu). We ordered 1 general chicken and 2 sesame chickens, but got 2 general chickens(extra spicy) and 1 sesame chicken. I called to report the mixup. First, they claimed that they«forgot to put sesame seeds on the second order» but that it was otherwise correct. Two boxes of chicken covered in red pepper told me it was wrong. They offered a credit on our next order, but since my kids were begging for dinner, I asked if they could send out an order of sesame chicken. They agreed. In the mean time, my young son tried a bite of my extra-spicy chicken and then sprinted to the refrigerator to get milk. That was the most entertaining part of the meal. Twenty minutes later, they called back to tell me that«the delivery driver knows he brought the right order» and argue some more. I told them they were wrong but to keep it, then hung up. Short version: they screwed up my order but refused to fix it. I’m not dumb — I know what sesame chicken looks like. It’s not orange and covered with red pepper. I’m done with Fortune Cookie.

This place is a freeking deal… Lots of food at a bargin price… Everything I had was very good. Many times i’ve had the shrimp, where there is plenty of good sized shrimp. The place is dirty inside… It’s like a good dirty mexican place… Don’t look around, order, pay, and leave with the yummy food. Kung pao shrimp!!!
