I love this place. I usually order a large mushroom and onion pizza, and its always delicious. The crust is thinner than average, and because I’m just about a half mile away, they deliver really fast. Lately, this has been my go-to place for delivery during study sessions for school — I have been ordering pizza about once a week for a couple of months now.

Pizza was inedible. Should have gone to Little Caesars and I’ve never eaten at one of those on purpose. Crust was bready and limp. Sausage was precooked, little, flavorless lumps. My teenage son wouldn’t even eat this pizza.

Wow, how this place stay in business. Got No business being in the pizza business. Limpy pizza. Check the bottom of pizza, sure enough, cooked in a pizza pan. Got a pizza oven but dont know how to use it. Shame. Sausage was precooked. Taste nasty. For the record, zero star. Shame to have a joint like that in my neighborhood.

The pizza was less than okay, the service was 20 minutes over what was stated. The pizza was over priced for the quality. The deep dish was horrible and looked like a calzone, Chicago would be very disappointed!

BESTPIZZA!!! We found this place 17 years ago when I was pregnant & craving pizza. We have been coming here ever since. Did I mention, we live in Concord & drive to Alameda, because it’s that good. Also the employees are really nice, they always make sure my family is taken care of & always have our table & order ready upon arrival, when we call ahead. We have tried many pizza places, but nothing beats Alameda pizza. I highly recommend it, you’ll never look at «chain food pizza places» the same. If you want great service, great pizza, go to ALAMEDAPIZZA. As for the prices, it’s extremely reasonable. I have only good things to say about this place. I would give 5+ stars if I could.

Been ordering delivery from Alameda Pizza for several years, and the pizza is consistently very good. Arrives piping hot, the ingredients taste fresh, and the crust is delicious and doughy. Delivery person is always friendly. Good salads, too.

Last night after a long day in culinary training(we had an «Iron Chef» competition which I won a 100 $ Visa gift card), I decided to grab a pizza. I went in to Alameda Pizza after reading the reviews on Unilocal.I placed an order for a large pizza, and some hot wings. Gave them the Visa gift card, the order was placed and paid for. They said a half hour for the pizza so I left and grabbed some other items from various stores. Upon returning the male manager was actually glaring at me, then the nice woman who took my order asked to see the card and my ID, Oh Kay, the male then grabs my card and yells«No we don’t take that». I replied but you’ve already charged me. He stomps over and voids the transaction, tosses the card and my ID and rudely dismisses me. Stunned I realized what it was, I guess my skin was a little too brown to have a 100 $ Visa gift card, and for sure I had to have been running a scam. We’ll he offered no explanation, and with the glaring and rude behavior, I would never return and I have told all of my friends(of a wide eclectic mixture of diversity) to never grace this jerk with any financial support. I add that since they charged the card I have to wait the standard 3 – 7 days for a refund. No pizza and down 43 $of my prize monies

I have ordered pizza from alameda pizza for the past 15 yrs albeit no order for the past 3 yrs. We got my old favorite, Meat Lovers Pizza. By far this is now the foulest pizza I have ever tasted. What happened to the quality? $ 28 + tip for a pizza that tastes like meat gone bad. I’m throwing the whole pie out.

This place serves ok pizza. I won’t call it bad but nothing out standing that I would rather order from them vs ordering from some chain pizza place. I ordered their so called famous sink something pizza and garlic bread. Both average. They felt really generic and not sure how fresh of ingredients they use, I was getting typical dominos vibe. I think it is expensive as well, their 12″ pizza goes for 18 bucks and I would rather eat at croll’s than this place. I would recommend eating here if you really want to eat pizza and all other pizza shops are closed. Otherwise there are better options in alameda. Sorry for the harsh review but sadly it is what it is.

sooooo the pizza was incredibaly cheap. it was really good«fresh» out of the oven, but once everyone(four of us) devoured our pizza we all had the bubble guts & destroyed the bathroom… with that being said… thanks but no thanks, ill have to pass.

WOW, this place went DOWNHILL. Tonight, after waiting for over an hour and a half, I called to check on my order. One of the owners answered, I know b/c we’d ordered so many times in the past. Ultimately, after LYING about having issues processing my card, and saying that the driver was on the way, and THEN(in the same call), stating that the order would be leaving soon — the owner actually hung up on me. Because I had the temerity to catch him in his own lies. Take your business elsewhere, folks. The food may be good(generally), but now I have to deal with disputing my credit card transaction, all b/c these bozos apparently don’t know which end is up. Such BS.

I always go by the slice. It’s always crisper than ordering whole. I always get the pepperoni with mushroom and sometime with garlic. Just don’t kiss any one any time soon. Lol

Dined in here about a year ago & really liked the pizza. This time, I called in a pick-up order. Asked for a half & half special & was informed that they can’t do half & half. I was kinda surprised & asked, «you can’t put different toppings on each half, like everyone else?» To which he barked, «we can’t do specialties like that — it’d end up being $ 30-$ 40! You want a $ 30-$ 40 pizza?!» Well, no — can I… and then I hear a dial tone. REALLY? Way to go dude — you just lost this customer… forever. I’m all for giving business to the«little guy,» even if it costs a few $$$ more, but that respect should go both ways. Mountain Mikes never yells at me on the phone, or hangs up on me.

So far, the best pizza we have had on the island! The Kitchen Sink pizza(pictured) was delicious. It had a savory aroma and tasted smoky, tart, and sweet with layers of flavor. We could distinctly taste each fresh ingredient yet the flavors were cohesive. We appreciated being able to taste the olive oil without it being overpowering. The Chicken Cacciatore(pictured) was great! The chicken pieces were generously sized smothered in marinara sauce and very tender; they practically fell apart when suspended from a fork. The vegetables(fresh green peppers, onions, mushrooms) were well portioned and fresh. We chose the penne pasta with meat sauce to accompany the dish and they complemented each other very well. So many menu items we now want to explore! We will be back.

This is where my friends and I, hit up every time we go to the Pinball Museum. It’s just one block walking distance. They sell large slices of pizza for $ 2.50 each. I actually crave this pizza! Usually I’m not a big fan of thin crust pizza, but it must be their sauce or something? I don’t know? All I know is that I want more!!! Owner is super friendly. Makes a big difference these days. We feel very welcome when sitting inside the restaurant. I love how he has the most random shows playing on the TV in the background. I hope to one day order a full pizza. Mmmm!

We had the Kitchen Sink pizza. It was good, but nothing spectacular. They advertise draft beer yet only have five or six bottled beer on hand. What gives? The staff was unfriendly and not personable at all. Seriously, we were the only people there and the only time we were spoken to was when we ordered and paid. Even when they dropped the pie off at the table, no words were uttered. I don’t think I’ll return.
