Island Tanning

Martha did a great job on my spray tan prior to heading to Hawaii! I was perfectly bronzed to be in a bathing suit in the middle of winter. Even better, she was very accommodating in setting up my appointment and reasonably priced. I will be using this business again and again.

Wonderful! Martha did a great job and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. It was my first time getting a spray tan and I was quite nervous, but she was very informed and confident and made the whole process very easy. Her tan looked beautiful and natural and stayed all throughout my vacation. Highly recommended!

Martha is awesome! I am so glad I’ve found her!!! No more jumping into spray tan machines and getting stain marks on my legs! Everybody loved my tan and thought I went to hawaii for vacay or something. It looked natural. I love my bronze tan! No more orange streaks for me! :-)

Martha is a life saver! After I had a very unfortunate situation with Benefit I was frantically searching for someone who could help me out before leaving for a bachelorette party trip to Mexico. I found Martha on Unilocal and called her right away. She was able to see me within an hour, and it was 7:30 at night! She was very professional and sweet. I also saved about 15 dollars.
In the end I had the best tan on the trip, the other girls who had gone to benefit had overly orange feet and hands and my tan was flawless! I can not recommend her highly enough.

Martha did a great job! She was recommended to me by a coworker as I was going to Vegas for a friends Bachelorette party. I am hardcore pale ginger and was worried about how a tan would look on me, but more concerned about blinding the entire city with my reflective skin.
Martha was affordable, friendly and professional. I showed up in Vegas and got many compliments from the other girls on my tan. Some of the bridesmaids even asked for her contact info to get sprayed before the wedding.
She was very clear on instructions pre and post tan and recommended a lotion to help my tan last longer, fade evenly.
I am for sure going back to her for the wedding and for my upcoming trips this summer!

Actually had quite the experience, I guess a girls gotta do whatever she needs to do in order to get a tan! ;) I enjoyed my tan for almost 7 days, so glad it in Alameda, after most tanning salons closed down. I was lucky to get in right before NYE! The price was very reasonable, too. It was not streaky at all and overall faded quite well. I got q glow just as expected! Thank you!

Martha saved me! I have a wedding to attend this weekend and at the last minute trying on my outfits I realized how ghostly white I looked and panicked. I got on Unilocal and found Martha in my area! Although I live in Alameda I would probably come to Martha if I lived anywhere in the East Bay. I had a 5 hour time frame to get a spray tan and I messaged the business directly from Unilocal along with a few others. Martha was timely in her response, and also the most reasonable in price. In some cases, she charged almost $ 30 less than others. I’m sorry, but I spray tan isn’t going to last for more than 5 days or so and I can’t justify spending almost $ 70 on one. I followed her steps and today I have a really lovely glow. I tan really well (in the Summer) and I feel so much better having a nice evenly dark but natural colored tan and I achieved just that with Martha’s help!

I had a rash of hives about a week ago and I didn’t have any issues with the tan sticking to the those areas on my arms.
I have very sensitive skin so asked for a quick glaze over my face but didn’t want a ton of tan… I didn’t break out! And My face looks tan enough where it matches my body yet, not too dark where I couldn’t wear my normal makeup.
TIPS: Yes, TIP! That is my tip for you! And follow Martha’s directions. :)

I have been seeing Martha for a few big events recently. She is awesome and the tans look great. She has the tanning tent set up in her garage. I am in and out in 20 minutes and have been very happy with the results.
I just wore a wonder woman costume for Halloween and needed a Linda Carter tan and — tbh, her boobs. Martha gave me advice on how to achieve both. (the nyer birdseed in a nylon stocking was brilliant and worked!) A cup to a B appearance. and a nice tan. :-)

This is the safest and most even tan I’ve ever had. I had this done right before my vacation to Honduras. I was pleasantly surprised that my tan lasted for the entire duration of my trip! It also faded evenly and didn’t look blotchy at all.

Martha makes you feel so comfortable right off the bat!!! Prior to my appointment, she emailed me helpful tips to making my tanning experience the best it could be. Since I’ve never had a spray tan, I didn’t know what to expect, so it was helpful to get walked through the process beforehand.
She’s super patient and explains every step as she goes. Martha takes her time, making sure you get great coverage all over your body. My results were amazing!!! I couldn’t be happier. Not only did the high quality products she used make my skin glow (not too dark or light), but I felt so much better about myself. Martha totally makes you feel comfortable in the skin you’re in. You can choose to wear a swim suit, under garments, or nothing at all! Her space is nice and clean. Super convenient location.
