I’m so glad we decide to come to Linguini’s Pasta today! This has been our favorite Italian restaurant since forever… but since I developed a gluten allergy we haven’t been back. My hubby was craving some GOOD Italian so we made our way back today. Now I find out that they have added gluten free pasta and pizza dough to their menus! And they even prepare them in a gluten free part of the kitchen. This is so awesome for me since I have missed pasta terribly! Their gluten free pasta is as perfectly al-dente as normal pasta and that texture is what I have missed. So of course I ordered my favorite. .shrimp scampi on gluten free penne. And it was delicious and satisfied all my pasta cravings!

Happened to walk by this spot & made the decision to eat there due to Unilocal reviews. Slight different layout with pizza/sandwich/beer/sports theme on one side and then pasta/finer dining on the other side. Overall… The food was good. The bread & butter were cold & really hard to spread the butter due to that. When we got the bill, we were charged $ 2.00 more on one of our dishes than it was listed on the menu. When we asked the waiter about it, he argued with us that the menu items were subject to change & that he could ask the manager if there was anything that they could do. We ended up getting the $ 2.00 taken off our bill but he also told us that the menu prices did change. He was not apologetic. I will not visit this place again.

This place was really good. A basic, friendly pizza joint: family-friendly but not too loud, sports bar centric but not too crass. The food was good and not too fussy, and the sauces are clearly made in-house.

This was my second visit and the food was worse. My spaghetti and meatballs were cold, but the waitress was very nice about it and brought me hot ones. Unfortunately they tasted awful — like from the frozen food aisle of a discount grocery store. I expect better for a $ 17(before tax and tip) plate of spaghetti.

Our server today was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were AWESOME! This is a fun spot to bring the family and watch sports. I do think the menu is a little pricey for sports bar grub but it is on Park Street in Alameda.

I took a group of 15 kids and 7 adults here for lunch for a birthday party. We preordered 9 large pizzas, which was more than enough. At my request they cut the pizzas into 10 slices rather than 8. The food was ready on time and the pizzas were delicious, especially the Linquini’s Specialty with chicken, bacon, jalapeños, and wing sauce. Spicy, but not over the top. Yum!

When I first moved here about 6 years ago, I frequented this place a couple of times a week, and for the most part, really enjoyed their food. After a time, I began to notice that whenever I ordered a pizza, it was a hit or a miss when it came to the quality. I assume that was because they had one chef that knew what they were doing, and another just plain didn’t. As time went on, the quality just continued to go downhill, yet at the same time they began to raise their prices. They still do make a pretty good sandwich, but I’ve vowed to never again order from them. The final straw came when I ordered their shrimp scampi. I placed the order to go and with a marginal tip, I ended up dropping $ 16. I had planned on sharing the meal with a friend, but when I took it out of the bag and removed the plastic lid from the tin, what I saw nearly left me speechless. Floating in a milky looking sauce, were five shrimp all about the size of my pinky. That’s was it. No pasta, no bread on the side, just five tiny little shrimp. The girl I was going to share it with nicknamed it Skimpy Scampi. That worked out to about $ 3.25 per piece and they were so small you’d need to eat two at a time to feel like you’d had a decent bite. I’m only giving them two stars because I took it back and they returned my money. I did let them keep the tip, but will NEVERGOBACK. I was just so appalled at their audacity. There wasn’t enough food there for a 3 year old. I wish them luck, but fear that if this trend continues, they’ll be out of business soon enough.

Best Pizza in Alameda. You won’t find better crust and ingredients anywhere else. They don’t deliver but who would want to? This pizza needs to be eaten hot out of the oven. They do carry out. Well worth the drive. Been eating here for 15 years! Still the best!

Location and TVs are great. Food isn’t homemade. Everything tastes premade.

Wow! We had been looking for some good Italian food and stumbled on Linguini’s after a movie. We tried the lunch special of fettuccine and chicken which was excellent and included a salad with amazing homemade dressing. Then we shared the sandwich special of the day which was a caprese chicken sandwich. OMG, this sandwich was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was casual and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend you stop in and give then a try! We will be back!

Stelar garlic bread. They also have breaded(fried) cheese raviolies. Thats a rare treat, and they make them carefully. So they quite crispy and good, and come with a nice marinara sauce. I’m definitely picking thos up again. The service was good too.

Pizza and sandwiches are good the times I ate here previously. But recently I took the family for dinner and it was generous giving them 2 stars. I Ordered the Ribeye not good at all for $ 24. The ribeye was a really poor cut of meat and not seasoned properly, or cooked Right. I couldn’t eat it. My girl ordered the Lobster Linguini gross also IMO.

Accepts credit cards?: YES Accepts Discover?: NO They won’t take my fly-by-night credit card lol But it’s okay-their food’s not too good anyway, a bit, or shall we say a lot overpriced. If it didn’t cost so much it would be more acceptable.

Wow… one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The delivery person was delightful. I only wish he would have delivered a different pizza from a different restaurant. There must have been a pound or more of cheese in this pizza. Basically the entire pizza was just ladened with cheese. The marguerite side of the pizza had a thick layer of jarred garlic – I could tell from the uniform chopped up pieces. Then a half inch thick layer of cheese and a few token pieces of chopped up tomato and basil. The Hawaiian style side had a red sauce that was medicinal tasting from overuse of poor quality oregano – sort of reminiscent of pine sol(the way pine sol smells). Then some ham and pineapple and another thick layer of gloppy cheese. It was as if they were trying to hide behind their cheese. Who knows if the crust was even good – I could not even find it. Ugh…won’t try their pizza again.

My family and I just left our grandma’s wake services and it was a long day /night and my whole family were starving. I checked Unilocal to see who’s able and willing to take our to go orders and it told me Linguini’s was it… I just want to personally thank the lady who took our order on 03⁄08 at 9:30 pm — I knew we had some misunderstandings about the entrée name but you were so kind and accommodating… thank you. Not only that — you took our more than 20 entrees willingly and delivered deliciously! It made the family realized how long it’s been since we ordered /eaten here and we all agreed that we need to go more often next time out. Everyone ate their meal and was fully satisfied. For all you Alameda residents looking for late night take-outs… wonder no more!

1. This *was* once a top East Bay pizza place, prob greatest in Alameda(been here 15+ years). 2. I“ve had it, and not going there anymore. The pizza is fine if you’re drunk or starved(and I’ve been both, lol) but otherwise they produce an extremely unreliable product. They’ve been going consistently downhill for a few years now. There simply is no consistency with their product. And, apparently, no kitchen oversight. I can say this because I most generally get the same pizza, so I can easily appreciate the many variations of it. The last straw was this evening — «thin crust, crispy pls», feta and artichoke(my standard). How, forgodsake, do I end up with a «thin crispy» pizza that is soggy and undercooked in the middle? Oh. Right. That’s because all the«dollops» of mozzarella were thrown right in to the middle of the pie. So first bite is all cheese, subsequent bites are NO cheese. Then of course there was the problem of trying to actually find the sauce and the artichokes… This isn’t the first time I’ve had issue: — previously was told«regular crust» is actually«thin». Ordered«regular, crispy crust», got quite a *thick* crust pizza that was, in fact, undercooked; you could see the un/undercooked dough through the middle. Ick. — ordered«thin, crispy» next time. It was thin and crispy — with the same generous amount of mozzarella! Which thereby effectively weighed down and«sogged out» and overwhelmed the entire pizza. 3. These various things have happened on my feta/artichoke pizza: — huge great wedges of artichoke hearts, uncut and strew throughout the pizza, — scant feta, — scant artichokes, — scant sauce, — extreme variation in crust thickness, — uncooked/undercooked dough in middle of pizza — variations in crust thickness explanations from wait-staff, …honestly? I can’t remember the last time I actually got a pizza that I expected. I’ll just stick w Round Table — they’re consistent. I’ve only kept going there because their crust is really good and I really like feta. But I’m done w Linguini’s in Alameda.

Wow I can’t believe all the countless times I drove by here and never stopped in for a quick bite or a drink. My friends and I were looking for a place to watch the Giants game and this was a great spot! Waitstaff was super attentive and patient. One even helped us play table tetris to accommodate our large group which was very much appreciated. Their walls are filled with Bay Area sports memorabilia(much of which are autographed photos) which I enjoyed looking at and will love to examine more closely next time I visit. The one thing that was a little annoying is that even though the bar was filled with TVs, they were oddly placed so we felt like we constantly watching from weird angles. There was also a projector that I didn’t quite understand because it’s huge but not really useful because of how the place was brightly lit. Overall, a good place for food, drinks, and sports! TIP: Happy Hour 4 – 6 but appears to be all night(minus sliders) when football is on!

We love coming to Alameda on a nice Sunday afternoon for lunch. Why not come and enjoy some pizza and cocktails. This place is perfectly family friendly. Theres one side with the bar and that old tavern type feel. Then the other room is big and spacious for families to enjoy their day. We sat in the big side room that is covered with sport memorabilia and local history. Our table was near the window so we could people watch and it was out of the way of other non child having patrons. The Fried Ravioli appetizer was delicious and cheesy. Not too many places have this as an app so we try them every time we come to a new place that has them. They were pretty dang good. I had the Salmon Sandwich as my lunch. It was a very good sandwich. It had a big piece of Salmon on it. I would have like the Caramelized onion to be warmer and the Buffalo Mozzarella cold. Cold Caramelized Onions are kind of slimy if you ask me. Their Sweet Potato Fries were very good. Those can also be a hit or miss thing. No, these were crunchy and not to greasy. My son had the kids Cheese Pizza. This place needs to be added to the list of great Places with Great Kids Menus. They had so many options. Lets just say that the pizza was excellent. The crust alone was worth writing home(or a Unilocal review) about. My son didn’t finish the whole thing so my husband took a slice and started eating it. He stopped and said that I had to have a piece. The crust was unbelievably good. They have great crust nailed! I had one cocktail, the Casadorez Delight. It was pretty bad. It tasted like rubbing alcohol with a dash of green olives. I was slightly disappointed in my cocktail and didn’t order any more for fear of having another bad one. Could have been the drink itself or the bartender that day. I cant say. We had a great lunch and would highly recommend coming with kids. Not to mention the awesome pizza crust, and the toppings that come with it.

I have been here quite a few times since my last review… those times weren’t really that good… feeling they were kind of skimpy on their ingredients… This time using the rest of my gift card… we actually enjoyed it… We ordered the pollo linguine which had more pieces of chicken than ever before… Our thin crust pizza special was very good… had the shrimp with feta Onion rings were crunchy and big… I continue to give this a 4 star hoping it stays this way…

Meh. Portabella mushroom ravioli. The portion looked big, but it was largely sauce(seriously, I had a whole bowl left after) and despite not being too hungry, I was able to finish the dish. The mushroom filling was very mushroom-y, which is good, but it was also a little dry. I’ve definitely had better ravioli. I tasted the fried zucchini, breakfast burger, and the peach cobbler. All were just okay.
