And it’s a fun time to join the Dames aux Gateaux for their POP-UP event at The Alameda Museum to celebrate one of the favorite former Alameda residents, Phyllis Diller. THESETUP The event entry is only a suggested donation $ 3 which go towards benefiting The Alameda Museum. The Dames aux Gateaux set-up a wildly fun antiquing & thrifting environment with a huge selection of: * Vintage clothing & accessories * Mid-20th Century Knick Knacks & Kitschyness * Celebrating the spirit & legacy of Phyllis Diller with music, crafts, * Photo booth & Raffle giveaways consisting of memorabilia from the Dames personal collections; and, * Curator Ron Ucovich shared stories about Ms. Diller throughout the day GREATTIME Over all, this super huge vintage sale features the efforts of the 10 gals contributing to the sale from their own personal collections, many of the items exhibiting both casual & fancy vintage clothing. Several items were acquired, both vintage clothing and some photography art. It was a fun time!
