** LOCATIONNOWCLOSED *** This Round Table has never lived up to the high standards of most any other Round Table in the state. The place is usually messy, the pizza not very good or overcooked, and usually a long wait. Well, it seems this may have caught up with this particular round table as the place is now empty and no longer open. Whether or not it will re-open or achieve new management is anyone’s guess, but for now, it is CLOSED.

One of the somewhat cleaner RoundTable’s I’ve eaten at and I’ve eaten at many as it is a family tradition to eat here for someone’s birthday. Family franchised and the employees are friendly. Who knows, I might catch you around here.

One of my favorite round table pizza stores, my order was always correct and my pizza was always on time, the employees were always polite to me weither I went in to order or I was ordering on the phone compared to other customers experiences, I will always get my pizza from this place, it’s top notch when compared to other pizza chains

Eh! I’ve had waaaay better RT. maybe I should’ve gotten Dominios?!? But he wanted what was close, so RT it was. Chicken garlic gourmet. The lady over the phone said it would be 45min to and hour for delivery… ok cool. Damn near 30min later there was a knock at the door. Who could it be??? RT?!? Damn sure was… WOW! Granted they were around the corner, I’ve never had delivery service that FAST from anywhere. Anywhoo, the pizza was sloppily(yup made it up). I was barely cut good enough. You go to grab a slice and everything comes apart. Boooo. Swear this is the WORST pizza I’ve ever gotten from RT. This also isn’t my usual RT of choice. I prefer San Leandro. Nope I won’t be back… dare I even suggest it to someone. I’d suggest they trek across town for good pizza.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 This place made me throw up while standing in line to get into a club. Now everybody thinks I am a drunken whore who cannot handle her liquor. Let me tell you, I may be a drunk whore, but i am not one to throw up after ¼ of a shot. Back in the day, I can take 6 captain morgans to the face and still manage to win 2 games of Beer Pong. Ahhh those days have sailed. ANYHOW, I digress, back to my review for Round Table Pizza. On this particular day, my girls from college came to vist me in my new alamedan home. We ordered 2 pizzas from Round Table: 1 veggie and 1 jalapeño. The pizzas arrived in a timely manner: on time and super HOT. I ate one slice and was extremely disappointed. The vegetables were too well-done and definitely not fresh, the dough was soggy, and the pizza itself was entirely overcooked. For that pizza alone i would have given them 1 star. So why the 4 stars you ask? WELL, bad food makes for good stories? haha, partially true but that’s not the reason! The very FIRST time, the large cheese pizza I ordered just a couple of weeks earlier was absolutely AMAZING. I will take that pizza over cuddling ANYDAY. The crust was soft but crispy, the sauce was tangy but not too overpowering, and the ooooey cheese so perfectly melted upon that round piece of bread. I bought the pizza for the fam to share but i ended up eating most of it! I could not wait to come back after that experience. Fast forward to two weeks later, the girls and I eat round table pizza, i throw up while in line waiting for some trashy asian club. Bits and pieces of olives, peppers, tomatoes, and vegetables splatter onto my shoe and that guy in front of me who turned out to be aiza’s sandwich maker. HOWEMBARASSING.

This round table is a disgrace to the name. I think they are always to busy to provide a quality experience. Every time I call it takes forever to get helped. The parmesan twists are usually under cooked and the pizzas don’t really taste that great, always seems to have light sauce and extra chewy dough. I miss the round table by my old house.

Trip and I stormed Round Table after being forced to reevaluate our loyalty to Domino’s Pizza(I got sick from undercooked chicken wings for the umpteenth time). The R.T. chicken wings are amazing but a little fatty, and the kid’s meatball sandwich is really good according to Trip. The food is a little«slow» getting out to you compared to other pizza places, but take it as a sign they don’t want you blowing chunks. There’s outside seating, a pretty decent salad bar, a jukebox with music from the early 90’s, a big mounted T.V. tuned to local news, but most importantly a machine full of suhweet temporary tattoos. Trip started piling the quarters into the«Homies» slot but I had to veto in the event of a well-endowed chola tat. We agreed on some pretty fierce Disney wraps and left R.T.P. feeling like rock stars.

I was famished, and needed food ASAP. Round Table is just a hop, skip and a jump away from my office. They have nifty lunch specials…1 slice and large drink for $ 4.99. I hauled @ss downstairs because I needed food for my brain to function. I ended up getting 2 slices of the combo pizza( ). Usually, Round Table is pretty good, but today it was just ok. The crust seemed a bit undercooked, so it was a bit too dough-y. Or maybe its because it was pre-made and sitting under the heat lamp. The ingredients on top were good though… gotta love all the meat toppings! The pizza is a bit pricey. $ 4.99 for the lunch special, but when I threw in an extra slice, I ended up paying $ 8.00!!! Ouch! Oh well… I keep telling myself its for a good cause… carbo loading for my ½ marathon on Sunday!

For a chain, their pizza is very good. We had the veggie pizza. Everyone liked it. I’d eat there again without hesitation.

We ordered a large pizza to be delivered to our place which is within 5 – 10 minutes distance… oh my god, it took them 2 hours to deliver this pizza to us!!! Although they did give us a 50% off on the pizza, the wait is just ridiculous! 1 star for the food but 0 star for the delivery service! Next time I’ll only eat-in or pick it up myself.

If it’s not synthetic, pre-made, or canned… or it’s rehydrated. Except for the salads, which cater to a four-year-old’s palate. The greasy pockmarks on the«cheese» matched the server’s complexion. Both were also angry, uninteresting, and yet pathetically unthreatening. If I want teenage angst I’ll read my old diary entries, thanks. Angst does help when an order is lost not once but twice And the bastards tried to make me wait so they could ‘get it right’. «Refund your money??? But the manager isn’t here, I don’t know how to do that!» Argh, keep the money, let me out of this trap tuned for tots. Please note this review is part of my «Alameda Pizza Review» list at

I tried the new sirloin steak & bacon pizza at Round Table. What a delicious pizza! I had never eaten here before. I am disappointed by most pizza. Most pizza tastes too greasy and gross(Pizza Hut, anyone?). Round Table pizza tastes just right. I like this better than Alameda Pizza. My only gripe: They don’t serve dessert. Chocolate cake would be nice. A plus: The pizza came within thirty minutes of ordering! The ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Again, I didn’t notice any extra grease! I will order again and again as long as they keep it consistent.
