After years of searching I finally found the best — Trang! I have been seeing Trang for over a year now and I plan to never leave her. The quality of her work is always tip top. She brings great attention to detail and care into every step of making your nails beautiful.
I see Trang for pedi and gel sets/​fills. I have very short brittle nails so I have been getting sets now for 12 years and have gone to many different salons.
Why I love Trang the most is in addition to the reasons above, she uses a technique that make the sets appear thin and natural. They last a long time, too. To top it off, Trang puts a lot of effort into personalizing your experience. She is also one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. I encourage anyone looking for a solid professional experience to see Trang. I promise you she is worth it.
Ps — If you have dry feet, ask Trang about her magical foot cream. It’s done wonders for my heels.

The best pedicure I’ve ever experienced! Every moment of my appointment was delightful. The relaxing ambiance of her space. The tea and treats she served. But mostly the thoughtfulness and gentleness of Trang’s pedicure. It was so relaxing and she did such a thorough job. My feet are so smooth and soft now. I went in for a pedi only but ended up with a mani too. The cost for a mani/​pedi was $ 45 and it was 1.5 hours. Thanks Trang!

First time came here and love this place so much. I came on Thursday after 5pm. At that time only me and Trang. I feel like I was at own spa. We talked a lot. I did a pedicure and manicure spa which she did a very good job. After all, she gave me free service for waxing eyebrowns. My eyebrows look so beautiful. Thanks Trang. I absolutely come back again.
Also, I pay overall $ 45 for the service plus $ 10 tip for a wonderful job Trang had done for me. However, she said it is a lot and gave me back $ 5. She is such a nice person I have ever met.
The services are a little bit higher than other locations. But you will pay for high quality time and services there…

High class service right here! I hadn’t had a pedicure in about 6 months so needless to say, my feet were horrible! I felt so bad for whoever had to handle them but Trang did so effortlessly! The service here is super top notch and super sanitary. I am a semi-​new hairdresser so cleanliness is still my top priority and always will be and I have to say that this place never once made me squeamish whatsoever! She is so different than any other place because she uses essential oils with lemons, basil, and orange peels in the water. She massages you using hot oil, hot stones, and finishes with a hot towel! It’s been 20 minutes since she finished and my feet are still tingling with refreshment. Gosh, I just can’t say more except you have to go to her! It’s a private location, where she offers mani/pedi’s and allllll over body waxing. Very reasonable prices and worth the drive guys

She does a great job and really caters to you. You’re the only one there and get her full attention.
She doesn’t do designs but she is very detailed with everything else.

Found on Unilocal-​listed under Kimmy’s. I was looking for a break away from the noise and general feeling of being rushed out by the ladies at my usual salon on park st. I made my decision to come here based on other Unilocalers reviews. However the ambiance, service and treatment Trang provided will keep me coming back. The interior is small and intimate; soft music, quiet conversation. Only two pedi and nail stations. The water was filled with fresh mint and oranges instead of chemicals and smelly bath salts. I was served a small bottle of water, cookie and assorted chocolates. My pedicure was not rushed and I truly felt relaxed. What sets Trang apart is her special attention to detail-​warmed mango lotion, hot stone massage (on my calves and feet!!), towels steamed in peppermint and she fanned my toes after dressing them :-) oh AND she applied sunblock on my hands to protect them from the UV machine. she has a very gentle touch and the products she uses are aromatic and natural. I appreciated the service so much I booked a couples «green tea pedicure» for myself and my other half. If you go anywhere else on the island-​you are missing something very special. Loved it! Trang does the best pedicure in alameda and even uses hot stones too! Her place is bright, open and welcoming and her tools are sterile and packaged for individual use. She cares about keeping your feet and nails in their best shape possible. Go there, you’ll be happy you did.

Note: this is the same location that used to be Kimmy’s, now Trang’s. Having nail services here is a very relaxing experience. The location is quiet and green and it is just Trang and you. My pedicure was excellent and my feet felt like new. I will be back soon.

Trang is truly fantastic. She is highly professional. She’s the only one providing services so the environment is indeed, tranquil. She gives her clients her undivided attention, and, it’s obvious that she takes her work seriously and really enjoys it. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon her little shop. Completely worth every penny paid.

Trang does awesome job. Takes her time and does everything with such care never rushes. Her location is super clean and quiet. You’ll always find free parking. If you want a cute little relaxing spot to get your pedicure and manicure done this is the place for you.
