Brandy has been coloring my hair an ash-​white blonde for a little over a year now. She gets the tone spot on and my roots always disappear completely into the existing color. I have thicker hair so though it takes a little while, Brandy is patient, calm, and takes her time to ensure that each strand gets attention. I always leave her adorable studio satisfied! I also love that you can text for an appointment, and her special deals are always tempting. On top of the service experience, Brandy is just a sweet and enjoyable person. Couldn’t recommend her more.

I have been going to Brandy for almost 10 years, and have consistently been very satisfied with her careful and stylish cuts! When I first went to Brandy, I had a spikey pixie cut, and over the years she has helped my hair transition from pixie, to a stylish medium-​short cut, to now-​shoulder-​length curls (my hair is naturally curly). I have always appreciated her advice and expertise, but never once has she given off the vibe of knowing more about how my hair behaves than I do. I have been coming to Brandy for over 3 years after a couple of unsatisfactory experiences elsewhere in Alameda, and haven’t been disappointed since. Brandy is amazing with both cut and color (as well as brow waxing and keratin treatments). She is very thoughtful both before and during the styling, hearing what I want while making suggestions as well. I have had lots of varieties of the bob, and she has always taken her time to make sure it’s precise and I leave happy. I have been coloring my hair for 24 years and I have never received more compliments than I have since I started seeing Brandy. My work schedule changes often and Brandy is flexible with my ever changing days off. I had the most amazing experience at this salon as Brandy performed exactly the hairstyle I asked for. She is very thorough with the cut and styling it.
I basically asked for a trim and to place more layers all over my hair. She knew that I had thin hair and Brandy worked her way around where you cannot see the morning glory (LOL) my thin hair. The precision cut was at it’s best that I have ever had. I am attaching a picture to see how I styled it as she achieved the hairdo I requested for.
Trust me when I say you cannot go wrong with an affordable rate of $ 45.00 it is all worth it!

Lovely boutique atmosphere. Private sessions. Brandy is great with all services: color, cut, highlights and more. She never rushes on your hair and will provide excellent consultation as needed.

Brandy was AMAZING! I have tried to find a good place to go for my hair for the longest time and I can officially say that I’ll never go to anyone else. Brandy was easy to contact and communicate with. I got a call back from her on the same day I left a message and then got an appointment in less than a week. I needed to go from highlights and a lighter color back to my more natural color (and also a trim). Brandy was on time, her salon was extremely clean, and she was so easy to talk to. Being able to talk to your stylist is a must. I mean, what else are you going to do for 2 to 3 hours? Price wise, I’d say she’s very reasonable. I’ve had the same thing done to my hair by other stylists and been charged up to $ 50 more than I was by Brandy and the experience wasn’t nearly as wonderful.
If you live anywhere near Alameda, you need to see Brandy. She knows what she’s doing :)

Brandy has been doing my hear for at least 6 years. She is GREAT with color. My highlights and lowlights look so natural most people don’t even know ;-) My cut is always great a best of all it always grows out well too!
She does my sis-in-law’s hair too. Perfect color and cut every time.
The best part? She always offers me a glass of wine when I come in for a late afternoon appointment!

Brandy is a god send! I have had many hairstylists and most have been awful! To the point where a few years ago i got my hair highlighted and came out looking like a blonde! (I am a naturall brunette) Worst part was I could not find a hairdresser that could get this color out and bring me back to my natural brunette color. until i found Brandy! One appointment and she was able to get that blonde color out and bring my desired color back along with a perfect haircut! Since then i have been with her only=) She is very easy to talk to and her prices are reasonable! She makes sure my hair is always looking healthy! I highly recommend her to anyone! You will not be dissappointed.

Brandy is amazing! She is the first hairdresser I’ve been to who discovered that my hair has a natural curl. She is passionate about her work and is a real expert in both cut and color. Her rates are very fair and comparable to specialty salons but her service is several notches above. Her space is a private suite, full of beautiful décor, and there is no sense of being rushed or squeezed in between other clients. She takes time to discuss what you are looking for and definitely honors your requests. I am thrilled with the style she’s given me. Alameda is lucky to have her!

Brandy is the only person I let touch my hair in 15 years. She started out in our local mall at the salon, and wherever she moved to, my family followed. Even now, I live in Los Angeles for college, and I schedule my appointments for times i’ll be back in the Bay Area! She is absolutely amazing, especially when it comes to coloring. The color is never dull and always comes out beautifully. She has the cutest salon in Alameda, which is very intimate and relaxing. Brandy is so great at what she does, I would never consider going any where else!
