I had a booster pump leaking and called Action Pool to have it repaired. After 3 calls and voicemail messages left each time over a 2 week period, I still have not received a call back. I give up! My pool is sitting dirty and I have not been able to run the pump for over 2 weeks since the water loss was significant enough. I can appreciate being busy, but absolutely no professional courtesy to call back even if the response is I can’t help you right now? I have used Action Pool in the past for repairs and thought I had found a dependable source, not the case any more.

Actually my new pool guy fixed what InAction Pool could not. We have had no trouble with Golden Bear Pool who I would give 5 stars to. Unfortunately Greg couldn’t remember to return my phone calls. It would be weeks before he would get back to me. Also the so called controller he installed wad defective and Greg promised to get us a new one since it was under warranty. Never happened. I wasn’t the problem the service was the problem.

Vickie has been maintaining our pool for the five years we’ve lived in Alamo. She and Greg were highly recommended to me us by the people selling us the home. I have found them to be trustworthy, reliable and very picky about the employees they hire. I am in real estate and recommend Action Pool to my Clients as well.

Greg insisted that hydraulics were his passion and that he could do the pool remodel for the best price. He not only incorrectly installed the hydraulics, but he failed to quote the job properly. The cost of the remodel went above the contract and the invoicing system was horrible– if not illegal. He NEVER finished the job and I had to pay another pool company to come finish our sheer descents and wiring. Vicky sent numerous ‘notes’ on invoices saying that they could care less about the money and that holding payment would not get them back to finish the job. By the way, he is not licensed to do pool remodels– so don’t hire them!

Highly dependable /​quality family business! I had a few things done over the years and each has exceeded my expectations. They return calls first thing in the morning — always. I called him on Sunday about a problem with a new pump he put in 9 months ago and this morning at 11am it was fixed. I don’t know when he did it or how, nor do I care. Low pressure too. If you like to think the price or project through, it is no problem.
