I brought my roadie in here to fix a clicking issue I just couldnt track down. In addition to fixing it for dirt cheap, the guys cleaned up and lubed every moving part on my entire bike! They made me a loyal client!

These guys know what’s up. They built my full sus XC rig I’m racing this year and it was flawless. The wrenches are all very good and the product they carry is great. Top-notch shop!

Livermore Cyclery in Alamo rocks! The mechanics Mike, Mike and Chris(also mgr) are superb and artisans at their craft. I took my bike in for a tune up(I usually do my own work) but they can get the groupo to sing like nobody’s business. They are super friendly, very prompt and fantastic with communicating. They are the best shop in town!

Coming in here makes everyone in my families day! Such good people it’s hard to not come by and hang out when I go to Safeway or the Post Office next door! Everyone loves these guys so much people bring in treats — remember they are cyclist so carrots and grapes went down real well ;D Great gear, great mechanics, they know their bikes! and highly recommend a fitting with Eric. He’s taken all these special courses to be able to tweak your bike so that it’s the most comfortable/efficient you can get– just moving my handlebars a fraction of a millimeter in a certain direction made all the difference for stress across the palm of my hand.

Today I visited this store, looking for a dual suspension mountain bike. The salesperson showed me a woman’s specific Trek in the $ 2500 range. Not wanting to waste his time, i explained that it was not in my price range and would prefer to keep it in the $ 1500-$ 1800 price range. He said, «let me go look up what other options we have» and off he went. After about 5minutes of standing around, another salesperson asked if we needed assistance. We said thank you but we(thought) we were being helped. After another 5 minutes waiting, we happened to look over at the register and the guy who was supposed to be looking up our options, was shooting the breeze while ringing up another customer. Seriously not cool! We left the store(he didn’t notice), drove to Mike’s Bikes in walnut creek and I am now the proud owner of a Specialized Rumor.

These guys are the best mechanics around. I am so happy that Alamo now has a decent bike shop.

I took an old bike in to have the tires replaced and to have everything checked out. They were super knowledgable, friendly, and speedy!

Really great service for replacing 2 tubes and tires. Fast and efficient with very reasonable prices to boot. Location is all the way at the back NW corner of the Alamo Plaza with easy parking. Nice selection of bikes, for every budget I might add! Friendly and helpful, I appreciate that. Will use again for sure!

Came in with a flat tire on my bike. I kept getting flats on my front tire. Like the novice that I am, I didn’t realize that I had a little staple lodged in my tire. The gentleman at the counter gladly took the piece out, then gave me some detailed instructions on how to best locate the cause of the issue, and also gave me a tutorial on how to best change a flat while on the road! I was very impressed with his patience with a novice cyclist, Definitely will return!

I could not be more excited about Livermore Cyclery opening an Alamo location. I’ve been a customer of both the Dublin and Livermore locations for a few years, but the Alamo location is super convenient and a beautiful space. Not only that, the staff is outstanding. The manager Chris is always extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A little bit of backstory here: A while back, I decided I wanted to upgrade from riding a hybrid to a road bike. I went to the Dublin store, knowing next to nothing about road bikes and was able to get all the information from Chris I needed. Let’s be real, cycling can sometimes seem like an intimidating sport to get into on your own, but the staff at Livermore Cyclery made the entire experience amazing and helped me get started. No snobby attitudes, just great people who truly want to help you get the best bike for you. Within my first year on the bike, I rode almost 1,700 miles on the bike I purchased from them and I couldn’t be happier with it. Livermore Cyclery Alamo is now a routine stop for me, I can’t pass by on Danville Blvd without stopping in! Their whole staff is phenomenal and would recommend them to everyone – whether you’re a seasoned pro or brand new to cycling. You can’t go wrong with Livermore Cyclery.

Poor selection of cruisers. They presume every customer is a thief — IDs required to test ride a bike, watchful eyes when you look at a product.

This is the inaugural and very first Unilocal!review of Livermore Cyclery in Alamo! This is a first class operation that is ran correctly. They have bikes to fit all ages from first time child on training wheels all the way to retired folks. Need a tricycle, mtn bike, road bike, beach cruiser, or training bike? They have them all in stock and ready to roll. I bought some great long riding pants for winter rides, along with a sleeveless under layer and a Livermore Cyclery road jersey. I also picked up some riding sleeves that can be taken off and eleviates the need for a jacket with zip off sleeves. The staff made great recommendations for all my riding needs. Drop by and take a look at their new digs!
