The Alamo restaurant of Muelle 37 was the worst dining experience I ever remember! Only we two gringas there besides some other people way in the back. Had to wait 15 minutes to get drinks, and waitress got my drink wrong 3 times, and my mother’s drink wrong 3 times, too! Though it was a couple hours after they opened, they didn’t have the lemonade made, and after we were there about 15 minutes, I saw them pour water into some machine, which turned out to be the lemonade. Waitress didn’t bother to tell us it would be a 15 minute wait. Since we ordered a plate, we got a small cup of marisco soup. It was broth with very little celery and onion floating in it. Not a sight, sound, taste, nor piece of fish in it! Had to ask for a spoon, and she brought us like a spoon bigger than a tablespoon! Didn’t bring us utensils until I finally flagged her down a few minutes after she delivered our food plate to us. Then it was only a fork, for two platters(chicken taco and seafood platter). So had to ask, again, for napkins and a fork and a spoon. The breading on the seafood was more breading than seafood. Maybe some real fat fat people like it that way, but it was pitiful. Also, had to ask, twice again, for tartar sauce. She brought two of the littlest tubs of ts, the smallest tubs ever made! Usually we both take home extras, but the food was so bad we passed on that, and left over half our plates uneaten. Didn’t even want to bring it to our 3 dogs, or for the birds in our back yards. Had to wait a long time to the the check, and it was wrong, too! The Alamo Marico’s /Muelle 37 is across the street from the HEB. I went to the webpage link for this company, and my McAfee stopped it bc it had known malicious properties.
