Perhaps Steven S. is unaware that Dr Gallegos lost his license due to widespread malpractice. He was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol treatment.

Dr. Gallegos has been our dentist for years! So has a good friend of mine, and our families. He is so amazing. No Pain! Gentle touch and never have had issues with his work. I have had tons of work completed by him. 2 caps in the front of my teeth, NOTEASY! 3 crowns, and silver removed and replaced with white. Our entire family is very happy with him. He had closed up shop for a while, I am not sure if anyone knows, but our economy is in a crisis and dental work is the last thing someone would have done when they are broke with no insurance and possibly no job. So, he is back and he is back strong. Great office staff, great hygenist! Yes, I am truly a customer. :) I would tell anyone that needs a dentist to see him!

Well, I had a great experience with Dr. Gallegos about a year ago. His assistant called me last week in regard to whether I wanted to make an appointment. I was surprized that he had moved to another dentist’s office in Blackhawk. Hmmmm, well I made an appointment for July 6th. His assistant called that morning and said Dr. Gallegos was ill and did I want to reschedule. I rescheduled for the next day at 1:00. When I arrived for my appointment it seemed Dr. Gallegos had gone MIA. He was supposed to be in the office at 10AM, hadn’t shown up for for his previous appointments, hadn’t called in. The office couldn’t reach him despite numerous calls to both him and his assistant. His voicemail box was full. The office advised me to go home as it was fairly apparent he had no intent of coming in. So today is the 8th, its 4PM and no call from Dr. Gallegos’ office with an explanation. Needless to say I’ve scheduled an appointment with another dentist.

His office has abruptely closed. That should tell you something! I hate to say it but I agree with Wade T. I have gaps and bad bite. He is not an ortho but a general doctor who just got certified by invisilign over the weekend. Every time I eat, I hate it because food gets in between my teeth! Also, he cracked my tooth while doing a root canal and claimed the crack must’ve been already there. I often noticed alcohol on his breath and eyes not focused. I over heard his wife telling the receptionist that they’d been out partying all night and he is in no shape to treat someone but he was there. They were laughing. Somebody, please take away his license.

Bummer of an experience for my wife. She got braces through this guy, wore them twice as long as promised, and the result was very poor. Gaps, bad bite, and not a straight smile. Our new found ortho says he can straighten out the mess within in a year luckily, but she needs braces AGAIN! Not only that, the 2 filling he did have to be done over because of poor quality. Nothing like spending thousands twice because of a poor choice the first time. Beware. This guy is a joke.
