The best Indian food I’ve had in the Capital Region. Awesome Groupon available right now that made everything very affordable, but it would be affordable either way. Awesome mulligatawny soup and their portions are perfect.
100% going back!

This was our first time ordering from Lazeez. We ordered Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were very good. The Chicken curry was very tender but the chicken tikka masala was a little over cooked. The masala sauce had a lot of garlic in it, more than I have usually tastes in masala sauce. It’s a good option as it is one of the only Indian restaurants with consistent delivery in the area.

Their buffet is the best around. The quality of the food here is what keeps bringing me back. The friendliness of the staff is an added bonus. For the price and the quality, this has to be the best of Albany.

This used to be my favorite restaurant, until they served me rotten food, twice.
The onion chutney was brown. I took a bite and it was absolutely rancid. I discreetly told them and they replaced it with more brown chutney and asked me to try it. It was still rancid.
I can’t believe they actually served me the same chutney.
Oh so then I tell this to my friend and she was just here a week before and ordered take out and her chicken Tikka had a HALF EATEN PIECE OF NA’AN IN THE MIDDLE.
They literally scraped people’s uneaten food off of their plates and put it back on the buffet. Vomit. Never, ever, again will any of my family go there.

Great lunch buffet. They never seem to have the nan bread out in time. I go 2 or 3 times a month.

Yum yum yum. I love going here for their lunch buffet. We get in and sit right down. The waiter is there within seconds to get out drink orders. I love the Chicken Tiki Masala and I love paneer panaak! The Biryani rice is fluffy and the naan is so fresh. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend for a nice lunch during work (with a nice food coma afterwards). Love it!

Good restaurant. Goat Karahi with naan is my option here. The other day I ordered chicken and goat, but I got two chicken curries. Then, I called the restaurant and they sent a goat curry ASAP.

Great place and great food.

I have been to this Indian-​Pakistani restaurant twice and enjoyed their Goat Kahari on both occasions. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is great. They have both a lunch and dinner buffet but I haven’t tried either yet. I look forward to going back again and would highly recommend this place.

This was the first time I got the opportunity to try Indian food in the United States and I have to say that I had a great experience. People were very friendly on the phone, and even nicer in person! The food was nearly perfect and I can’t stop eating it. This will be my new ‘go-​to’ place when looking for something good and different. Only downside is that it’s a bit costly for college student; still, Money well spent. Thank you!

Eugh. I don’t know why I do this to myself, writing reviews while hungry, y’know? I’m probably going to get some Indian food later today because of this.
We were driving back from Portland, ME when a craving of Indian food suddenly and unapologetically hit us. Unilocal brought us here and we enjoyed a delicious Indian /​Pakistani buffet. Butter chicken, chickpea + spinach inspired dishes + naan, vegetable korma and more.
The buffet featured a lot of choices for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Service was good. Water was refilled throughout. It would be nice if they cooked the naans to order rather than having them set out as part of the buffet (they get cold that way), but I’m just being nitpicky.
If you’re in the Albany area, Lazeez is a fine choice for Indian!

Good place. Had Tandoori chicken, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta and Biryani. Good service and good food. But if u r looking for a restaurant with hard drinks or wine with indian food, then it’s not the place to go as they don’t serve hard drinks or wine. But over all good food.

Went to have dinner with a Groupon for a little treat. The service was good and the staff was pleasant. Prices are very reasonable and the food was flavorful. Seemed like a popular little place since it was getting pretty busy shortly after we arrived. Would give it a 5 star but the atmosphere leaves a little to be desiered.

The waiter was super rude.
My boyfriend and I went here with a groupon that offered 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, and two drinks. When we got there, we ordered a Lamb Masala, Lamb Kabob, pakoras, samosa chat, strawberry lassi and mango lassi. The waiter frustratingly retorted «You have coupon or something?!» I said yes and showed him the groupon I purchased. He took my order and left. A few minutes later he came with our appetizers and our entrees. Throughout the meal, we realized he forgot the lassi so my boyfriend tried to get his attention. I was already losing my appetite from the ambiance and way our waiter showed no interest in treating us like regular customers after we presented our groupon. I could not even tell you if the food was good or not. We wanted to get the food to go but still we received no attention even though he was walking pass us several times to assist other customers. At closing time, the waiter realized he forgot our drinks and proceeded to make 2 mango lassi’s. My boyfriend didn’t even order the mango lassi. I don’t know about him but my boyfriend and I was already ready to leave. We thanked him for the mango lassi’s anyway and chugged it so he wouldn’t feel bad for making us drinks that were only going to be discarded. It didn’t taste great especially having to chug it.
Then the bill came and we were charged for an appetizer even though it was supposed to be included in the groupon. I looked at my groupon to make sure it said 2 appetizers and it did. I asked the waiter about this and he raised his voice and said «No, it is for one appetizer. I am not trying to cheat you miss. Look in your e-​mail.» I don’t like arguing with people so my boyfriend just paid for the amount and left.
If they were going to treat customers using the groupon like shit, they should not have signed up for it.
We won’t be returning ever again.

Absolutely love lazeez! I can honestly say its the best Indian restaurant in Albany. I’ve only experienced the lunch and dinner buffets, but every option has been awesome.
Anyone who loves goat– try their goat, its amazing! Naan, rice, meats, and everything is just great! One of my favorite restaurants .
The ambiance is very inviting and the owner and staff are very friendly and bubbly. Everytime I have gone, I’ve left completely satisfied and stuffed!
So, If you love, like, or just curious about Indian food– try Lazeez.

Lazeez is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Albany, NY. Now, I love Indian food, but I never know what to order, and Lazeez offers an awesome selection to choose from. Their naan bread is absolutely delicious and there never seems to be too long of a wait to get a fresh batch of it. I love the fact that they always seem to have the chicken tikka masala, and the fact that you can get this entire meal for $ 6.95!
The ambiance is nice and the host is always really friendly. It’s very welcoming and the service is great. I’d recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a great meal in a quiet location.

Lazeez offers more vegetarian selection in its buffet, and it has Bund Gobi in the selection which is my favorite :)
