Great margaritas and food, however the service could stand to be better and ALWAYS extremely long waits.

I live in California and travel to non-tourist regions in Mexico and can safely say that the food and service here was very good. FYI… Salsa in Mexico is not typically hot, it’s flavor is most important and here they do a good job. Bigger portions than what you see in Mexico, but overall not Americanized.

Best Mexican in Albany, hands down. Just drive by on any given night to see cars and trucks parked in every space, even up on the grass and curb. It’s popularity says everything. You’re not going to find better food or service anywhere else and Albany knows it. The fajitas a la Mexicana is excellent! The burrito caliente is my favorite, topped with sour cream and cheese. I won’t fine at any other Mexican restaurant. Enjoy!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Albany ga. The food is always fresh and greatly seasoned. The restaurant is fairly big so they can sit a lot of people even though there is a wait most weekend nights, probably do to there great food quality.

I went here with a party of 9. We were promptly seated. We had a helpful waiter who was very attentive to all of us. I had the burrito and enchilada plate with rice and beans. All of it was good. everyone else raved about their food as well. The had a cheeseburger on the menu for my son, and accommodated my daughters request for a bowl of meat. I would be glad to take a group here again.

The salsa is very bland. Kind of like tomato paste with a little cilantro. Other than that the food is pretty good.

one of the best in albany — i never leave without being full — most of their portions are enough for two people and taste delicious

Good service, good food, decent prices. They also have the standard free refills on drinks. I got the borrito caleinte it was good and spicy but was lacking sour cream to cut the spice and add some dimension to the dish. I do recommend this place but just know you may need to add a little something extra to the disges.

I know mexican food !! MUYBUENACOMIDA Y FELIZ! grew up in arizona and it’s always been my preferred cuisine .I am in the culinary feild and am very picky when it comes to good food especially being mexican. Being welcomed right away walking in the door during lunch rush. Sit down with menus and right away before opening menu was delivered wonderful crispy hot chips with a very fresh salsa. Perfect timing on refills and customer service. Ordered stuffed paublano peppers with rice and beans and it was the best I’ve had, amd it is my favorite dish. The rice was perfectly cooked and flavored better than I think a top chef could ever even cook it. Meat was still sizzling in the pepper and was smoking hot, meat not over seasoned like most restaurants always do only tasting chillie powder and paprika and other seasonings, actually tasted the good beef flavor amd the best part was the wonderful chesse sauce spread evenly over dish but not over powering. Great food great service ! MUYFELIZ !!

I have never had a bad meal in this restaurant. If you want to get your Tex-Mex on in All Benny, this is the place. Friendly and attentive waitstaff(who are also easy on the eyes) who know when to attend to you and know when to back off and just let you eat. The chile releonos are excellentl and the falatas are the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the Fajitas Vaqueros. Margaritas are simple and yet still the best in town — guaranteed to take the edge off of your worst of days. Enjoy!

Food was bland and the service was stretched to thin! 17 people with only 1 waiter, never got a refill, had to ask and ask. The room was EXTREAMLY loud! our food came in stages with most through eating before my Taco got there! There is better Mexican places around!

Good food. Best guacamole I’ve had in a long time. It is really loud in there though. There is one waiter in there who is a chip nazi. Barely ever gives you any chips and then when you ask for more he gives you a mean face.

Just finished eating here. In order: the décor is very good. Was clean and modern. The service was extremely good, though having a server with a piercing hanging off her lower lip was a bit unappetizing. However, the food was not very good. The guacamole was pretty good, the chips were fresh and tasty, but the chili relleno was the worst I have ever eaten. the enchilada was ok, though. Not sure I’m going to eat there again, because, let’s face it, the food is really what you go for, and this was mediocre at best.

Fast service, food arrived pretty fast, and the fried ice cream was good. I usually get fajitas but decides to try the steak burritos. Good choice but not enough meat. Get the fajitas!!!

I came here for a birthday party, and they did a pretty good job considering our party size(22). We were in a patio, so I didn’t get to see the restaurant inside much, but the food was pretty good. The taco’s were average, and the enchiladas were OK, but they had the best chili relleno I’ve ever had barnone! And I have had a bunch of ‘em.

Los Vaqueros is your typical Mexican restaurant, it has the fake Spanish-colonial architecture painted an orange color with a bright«open» sign above the door. Upon our arrival we were seated at a large booth that could fit 4 people comfortably. I ordered the medium sized lime margarita on the rocks with salt, which my boyfriend ordered a Dos Equis. My margarita was very strong and quite tasty. The beer was good, but they provided a frosty glass, which caused the beer to freeze on top after being poured. Their chips were pretty good, but some of them were a little stale, which kind of disappointed me, but in a way I was kind of glad so that I did’t get full of chips. The salsa was a little too spicy for my taste, I really couldn’t really take it. Ehh. They should have a non spicy salsa and a spicy salsa. We ordered the fajitas Los Vaqueros which is a steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas with plenty of onions, bell peppers and tomatoes… this dish was quite good. The fajitas were also accompanied by pico, guacamole, refried beans with cheese, and Spanish rice. These sides were all good and complimented the fajitas that I ordered. I really enjoyed my entrée and really liked how they had lots of onions… delicous! Upon seeing the consequences of the frosty glass with dos equis, i decided to order without the glass and thoroughly enjoyed my beer. Overall, the food was tasty but not out of the ordinary for Mexican food. The service was great and the atmosphere was pretty good as well.
