Ahh McDonalds. If you have that craving for the familiar taste of fast food breakfast this is the only option in the airport after the security line. But don’t come in with high hopes. I admit that their breakfast sandwiches(when prepared correctly) are the reason I eat here. And those crack-riddled hash browns. Ordered their mainstay egg McMuffin with an orange juice(up charge for the OJ). Was just a few minutes before breakfast was over and they were busy. Food came out relatively quickly for how many people were before me and not yet served. I guess I prematurely claimed victory as I grabbed my bag of familiar and made my way to my gate only to find the order was prepared incorrectly. Returning it was no hassle though and the manager on duty seemed confused about why I wanted a refund. Ah well. After dealing with a morning breakfast rush I bet I’d be in the same state of mind. After your McDonalds experience you’ll likely end up the same place I’m sure 99% of all travelers end up — wondering why the Dunkin is before security and McDonalds is behind security?

I have not eaten at a McDonald’s in approximately 4 years and I was just reminded why. The [stuff they call] food. The service. The cheerful attitude. The cleanliness. The wonderful, long-lasting eau de frites bound to follow you home. I had a triple cheeseburger and sorely regret it now. It didn’t taste half as good as it sounded and my stomach is doing funny things I have never felt it do before. I paid $ 3 for a stomachache. So not worth it. :(

What can you say about McD’s? I was here at the airport in Albany bright and early and decided to get a little breakfast on the go. There are few places to choose from once you are through the airport. They start serving drinks at 415 and food at 430. At least that was what the deal was when I was there :) I got a sausage mcmuffin and an oj to go. It was warm, good, fast. Everything that you expect out of McD’s.

The McDonald’s at the Albany airport is just an average McDonald’s. Because this airport is not busy in the slightest, there is hardly anyone here. Most recently, I went here for breakfast, and I just walked right up and ordered. The food came out lightning fast — but I don’t know if that’s because no one else was ordering, or because the sandwiches were already pre-made. It was that fast. The cashier was kind of surly, but it’s McDonald’s, so it is what it is! Ultimately, there aren’t many food options at the Albany airport, so for something quick and fast, this one will suffice.

No one knows how to reload gift cards. As a result, y’all lost $ 50 in a gift card reload and about a $ 10 food purchase. Location is also understaffed and was taking about 10 minutes for others to get their orders.
