The pizza was about like the pizza you get at Little Caesars but twice as expensive. On the ground beef, they used the cheapest brand at the store! Had to go to Krispy Kreme to get the taste out of my mouth!

What a joke…20 $ for this? I didn’t know I ordered the child’s plate…2 very small pieces of brisket and a few cubes of pork is NOT a 2 meat combo. They need to take some lessons from Blackbeards. Oh, and the band outside was annoying. The vocalist sounded like a dying cow.

Had lunch here and the brisket was very good. Came back tonight to try the pizza and it was good. The only thing keeping the pizza from being very good was the limited amount of meat compared to vegetables. Draft beer selection was very weak so only going 4 stars.

Love this place! We eat here at least once a week! The juicy brisket is delicious. The pizza is awesome as well. Prices are reasonable.

I love the food and the friendly staff. I’ve had the brisket, rib tips, pizza, greens, beans, hamburger and pulled pork. All of the food was delicious and the drinks are great. Sit at the bar and have Kelly serve you up a frozen margarita.

So far so good. This place has been open for several months and from what I can tell, based on driving by and seeing how full the lot is, business is going well.
This place specializes in BBQ (both beef and pork) and pizza. I ate here about a week or so ago because I had bought a coupon from
that took $ 5 off of my meal. My brisket meal was great for the most part. My waiter recommended that I try the baked beans which I did and were absolutely delicious. The noodles in my macaroni and cheese was a bit too soft and soggy for my liking however it was still good.
The workers are very nice and diligent in making your meal enjoyable. My waiter consistently checked on me to see if everything was alright. As far as the restaurant itself, it has a small bar with a select few alcoholic beverages but no TV’s. I believe that they will have some TV’s in due time once the restaurant generates a little more revenue. This would be the perfect spot for those Darton students to drink a few beers and catch a football game.

My first experience here: my mom & I ordered the BBQ ribs. There were tiny bugs (gnats maybe) crawling in her tray of food. She was very displeased and the manager was notified. There were no accommodations made to secure her business/​return visit to this establishment. My ribs tasted below average at best and the food was served on brown paper bag looking material.
My second experience here: so I decided to give the pizza a shot. The toppings were fresh, however, the crust was mostly burnt. I doubt if there will be a third experience at this restaurant. Disappointed…

This place is terrible… pizza was burnt… bbq was dry… and who would sit at a bar that has… no TVs… oh and don’t order the rib tips $ 7 for five pieces… Really?

Chef buck makes some oooooweeeee beef brisket. My husband is a native Texan and BBQ snob and this the only place I’ve seen him repeatedly go to eat beef brisket outside of the state of Texas. The baked beans are filled with chunks of BBQ pork, perhaps s little too much but good flavor nonetheless. The collards are a huge delicious surprise, sweet and a little bit of heat but very delicious. Half chicken dinner is a great portion value and price point. They have these offbeat grits stick appetizers that sound a little offbeat but were actually pretty tasty. Have done catering too, meal was delivered on time with a smile and all the fixings. The group I was feeding enjoyed the meal immensely! Glad to have a home time place to get good beef brisket. Gonna try the beef ribs next…

We try to eat there 2 to 3 time a week some of the best bbq u can have the wife live the pulled chicken and I love the beef brisket but all the food is good the ppl r so nice u can’t ask for a better place to go with the family and friends to get something to eat

This place is awesome. The pulled chicken was the best ever. The brisket had an awesome bark and very flavorful. I loved the baked beans and for those of you who don’t like pepsi they have ice cold coke in a can so you can enjoy it with your meal. My husband and 3 year old were so happy they ate everything and we all were extremely full when we left. I will go back not just for the food but the service as well you are taken care of very well and everyone is so nice.

Amazing! The diavola pizza is incredible. Just the right amount of bite! They had hopsecutioner on draft!!! It was a great dining experience!!!

Me and Cheryl both had a pork BBQ sandwich. I had the one with the spicy cole slaw. Amazing! Cheryl had the frozen margarita. Best in town according to her.
She also got an order of collards. They were delicious too.
Recommendations would be to add a few more beer choices and not serve food on the trays. There was PLENTY of food but the trays make it seem minimal.

Was in town for business and clients suggested this place. They are now my new favorite client! This place rocks! BBQ was great! Highly recommend!

For me Albany has few choices for good restaurants. This place is great and you can tell the owners really care. It’s nice to be able to get a real pizza and great BBQ all at the same place. So happy we stopped in here. Prices are low and food quality seemed very good, the cheese and sauce on the pizza tasted so fresh.

I’m kind of a BBQ snob. Pretty good, but I’ve had better… not saying this isn’t good though.
I’d love to have had one of their pizza though as they looked awesome!
I will say the folk here go above and beyond to make things right and that is a big plus in my book.

Smoke and Fire is unique in that usually restaurants specialize in only one thing but here BOTH the pizza and BBQ are really good… my wife has been here a few more times than me and everything we had was really good… I especially like the pulled pork… the Brunswick stew is really good too… they only do brisket on TUES and FRI so I haven’t had it yet by my father-​in-​law says it is awesome… I will be back to try it for sure… Great addition to Albany!
