Best pizza in Albany by far. If you’re studying, dying from hunger and need a pick me up. I’d go with soho. They have a good selection of pizza toppings in which they do all well. Delivery is fast and pizza is crispy and tasty. It’s my go to pizza in the area

I order in for delivery from here all the time, and the food is always really great, and fresh! Italian dishes are very good, subs are excellent and the grilled chicken salad is amazing. Big portions. Sometimes I order from other places but always come back here for the good prices, great food, and good service. Highly recommend them!

I would not even feed their chicken parm dish to an animal! Absolutely disgusting. Total shame this place puts these pasta items on their menu for sale. Only reason I give this place a couple stars is because they are fast with delivery and their pizza is good. Please do not waist your time with anything else on the menu. Soggy wet noodles and chicken. Couldn’t take more than a few bites. True disgrace to Italians!

Gross. Tasteless food. Long waits. The location is dirty and filled with drunk people. I try to never go there.

They had the best slice i ever had in Albany when I ordered. Definitely worth going back a few times to see if it’s the shop for you.

Ordered garlic parm chicken wings, they came out pretty delicious. However the pizza we ordered — the soho philly steak pizza with basil, steak, moz cheese was like a poorly made wannabe dominos pizza. it was eatable but how they presented and described it in there menu did not look how it delivered. We did order late at night at 1230 am so perhaps that played a factor in there pizza making but still spending $ 17 on a large pizza there was little to none steak and it looked like a normal cheese pizza — slightly sprinkled steak and only on one/two slice of pizza. I was disappointed, I’m from NYC so this is nothing compared to the city. I would suggest west gate Bella pizza. Perhaps soho food items other than pizza is better, like a sub or wings. The pizza photos that are posted here absolutely DIDNOT look like my pizza. I would post them but we threw out more than half the pizza last night.

I don’t know how I should rate this place considering the circumstance behind my visit there. reliving a sequel to the Hangover movie of sorts and stranded in Albany, my friends and I stopped by this place for a quick bite late night in-between an in-prompt bar crawl. This place like any other pizza place offers a host of variety and one thing in its favor on a thurs nite, its open late. From buffalo chicken to plain and to some having pepperoni slices, the pizza was fresh and not chewy considering it was not made to order. The pizza was good, the service could have been a bit more friendly, hence i took a star off of that. Overall, a great pizza choice after hours to eradicate the late night munchies…

Lame. Crust feels stale. Buffalo Chicken Pizza should not be made with a tomato-sauce-base, as it’s done here and everywhere else in this city. At least make it with a garlic/butter or Bleu cheese base.

I haven’t fallen in love with a pizza place in Albany yet. These guys are close and they deliver so I have eaten their pizza quite a few times. The pizza is so-so, nothing to crave but at the same time nothing to avoid.

Great pizza! Delivery is usually quick. I usually order their deluxe pizza and the toppings are generous.

I love cardboard so I really enjoy coming here. Would give a 5 star but their pizza isn’t dry enough for my taste. It’s dry and hard but not to my standards. Enjoy

I was told 45 minutes for delivery. It took 80 minutes! I ordered a large salad with my sandwich and asked for extra dressing. I am glad I asked for extra otherwise it would have not had any! It only had one of those small packets for one large salad. I called to complain, but after I told them what happened, they asked me to hold and just left me hanging. Otherwise, the food was only fair at best. Definitely not worth the cost, time or hassle.

Soho Pizza is a pretty average pizza place located along the heart of Albany’s Lark Streeet neighborhood. Kinda small and cramped if you’re planning on dining inside, but service is fast. They do have a decent selection of specialty slices(such as BBQ chicken) if that’s your bag. I’ve been here a few times now, usually to grab a slice of pizza if I’m spending time in the area and otherwise haven’t had a chance to eat. Their pizza tastes good, but not over the top in delicious. At least it’s in the New York style that I’ve come to expect over the years.

Drunk? check. Hungry… no, really, really hungry? check. Yep! One slice will be plenty enough. The toppings alone will fill your ravenous palate up until the wee hours. The only problem will be having to choose one of the many types of pizza, #First World Problems I guess.

This place if friggin great pizza, period. Tasty crust, if a bit dry, lays a solid foundation for an amazing tasting slice. I live in Brooklyn and this blows most of my neighborhood spots(Williamsburg, no less) out of the water. I think during the 2 weeks I spent upstate recently I had Soho 5 or 6 times. Ok it’s not often you get something fresh out the oven, but it doesn’t even matter. The flavor is there, quality counts. Ask for a side of marinara and it’s likely on the house. The pizza stays together very well, not messy, they have a good assortment of specialty slices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Honestly I’ve eaten pizza all over the world and Soho holds it’s own.

We each had a slice and one was clearly the winner. My eggplant parm slice looked great but it was a soggy mess. My partners bbq chicken slice was amazing, crispy dough, big fat pieces of chicken and yummy bbq sauce. They were playing hella good music and I liked the display case a lot.

Ordered for Delivery with a bunch of friends. The pizza was good, but if you’ve had a good slice on LI or in the city, you know that there’s better pizza to be had. Of course, it was 10PM on a sunday night, and since everything closes early in Downtown Albany, we didn’t exactly have a beacon of choices. The wings were good, but they were obviously frozen, not fresh. We ordered two calzones also, big mistake, they are immense. The calzones were filled with more liquid than cheese(I hope because of the cheese), and were dripping everywhere when we cut them open.) Being open in a town where Rite-Aid closes over the weekend, with a reasonable price for wings is what’s giving them the two stars.
