I’ve been wanting a monroe piercing for a few months now and wanted to see if there was a piercing only shop i could go to rather than going to a tattoo parlor. I found this place on google and read the reviews. I have to say they were spot on. Lovely, clean shop. Got in asap without an appointment. Rebecca was knowledgeable and friendly. Explained everything. Didn’t really hurt at all. Very Very pleased :) Highly recommend.

Employee with the butterfly tattoos does not know how to communicate with people in a nice manner. First, the door was locked an when she came to open it for a friend and me she basically shut it in our face and we stood outside completely taken back and proceeded to go inside where she so rudely asked«do you need anything» like obviously that’s why I’m here. They lost a customer due to the fact an employee doesn’t know how to be nice to people. maybe this is why your stores closing.

I went in with a group of 8 girls who at first only 1 wanted a ear piercing and then turned into 6 of us wanting a wide variety of piercings. Sarah was the only one working and handled everything perfectly and professionally. We were all ESTATIC about how everything came out. She was extra caring and truly knew what she was doing. Would recommend to ANYONE, a great experience for everyone.

I went here to satisfy a long desire for a piercing. Rebecca was a nice and professional as could be, the shop is tasteful and not testosterone soaked, as is the case in every tattoo parlor I have ever entered. While it wasn’t painless, it was quick and the service was superb. Big plus, R. Rocks a fantastic hair style!

Daughter went here to have a nose stud changed. Girl who changed it decided to bend the wire from a spiral to an L-shape for no particular reason except it was easier for her. The stud came out that night and my daughter had to go to another establishment to have her nose repierced.

I got a hoop nose piercing here and I love it. The piercer was very helpful. She talked me through everything as she did it and she made sure I knew how to care for the piercing before I left. I haven’t had any issues with healing and it looks great.

Very helpful. Went in on a saturday afternoon with my friends and was helped right away. I got a conch piercing and my friend gotboth of her nipples done. Everything was sanitized and very relaxed. The ladies were great to chat with. I recommend everybody go there!

Got my septum pierced here about a week ago, and the woman who did it was super friendly and got it done much faster than I expected. I didn’t feel a thing! It’s super clean and has a wonderful vintage feel. Highly recommend for all your piercings! They know what they’re doing!

Went here today basically on a whim. I got my tragus pierced a few months back at another piercing shop. I got a hoop with a ball put in. I had always wanted just a diamond stud, but they don’t usually pierce the ear with that. I figured I’d just change it as soon as it healed. Boy was I in for a surprise. The thing was impossible to get out. IMPOSSIBLE. I had been meaning to go to a place to see if I bought a stud if they would change it for me. So, I walked into Lark Vegas Piercing. The girl at the front counter was extremely friendly, and said it would be no problem. The whole earring cost $ 20, which I thought was pretty reasonable. I probably would have been willing to pay that just to get the dang hoop out of my ear. We chatted for a few minutes because the other woman(owner?) was in the back with another customer. She was SO friendly. I asked some questions(I don’t know too much about piercings). She asked the appropriate questions so she would know what length of backing to give me, which I thought was so great and thorough. When she actually took out my piercing, I didn’t feel it at all. Was very impressed. Wonderful. Definitely check it out!

Although I had stopped by Lark Vegas several times before, looking for retro jewelery or accessories, I only recently feel qualified to write a review. In January, I decided to get the cartilage of my ears pierced. I had my own captive-ball rings(they had belonged to someone very dear to me) I wasn’t sure if they would let me use my own jewelery or if I would be told that I must buy new rings. After dealing with a rather gregarious customer before me with absolute grace, Rebecca told me that using my rings would be no problem and that she could disinfect them for me. I looked around at adorable hair clips during a brief wait(while she set up), I was taken into the immaculately clean and tastefully decorated piercing room. The piercing and healing process was clearly explained to me and the area was marked to my liking. During the piercing, she told me what she was doing and what I might expect(as any good body piercer would). Having pierced my body in a few places(6, not including my ears) over the years, I have had good and bad experiences. My most recent piercing experience at Lark Vegas was definitely a good one, and I will go back and ask for Rebecca(I have been told by a friend that she is the owner) if I decide to get another. I thought that the price was reasonable and in fact was surprised that it was not more. Lark Vegas is professional, clean and classy. Which is exactly what I expect in a body piercing studio.

Seriously awesome. I can’t speak to the evolution of this place, and it seems like everyone’s griping about the loss of the gift section here, but I never knew that portion of Lark Vegas, so I’m just gonna go with it. Piercings are average-priced – nothing I didn’t expect to spend(how’s that for a double-negative?), and definitely(and surprisingly) on par with the pricings in my West Coast hometown. The people there were super rad! From booking an appointment to the actual piercing, I was impressed with how not-surly the ladies were. The head piercer has apparently been doing piercings for something like 14 years and is in school to become an RN. It shows. She put my wimpy ass at ease, let my friends hold my hand, and made my nose piercing SERIOUSLYQUICK and PAINLESS. I don’t know what she did, but it was probably the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Even my friends commented on how awesome she was. I highly, highly recommend this place for piercings. They had a solid selection of jewelry, so this will definitely be my first stop when/if I need to change my stud!

I bought a wallet there last week, would love to see more accessories. It doesn’t seem worth going in if you aren’t looking for piercing jewelry. It does have a little gallery space which you can check out on First Friday. Price was fair since the designer charges about the same online.

They used to have a much larger selection of pinup girl-themed items, retro accessories, books and cool little cocktail items, but now they seem to have downsized on all of that and now focus almost solely on jewelry and pierces. It’s too bad, because I found some great gifts here on sale, including sushi-printed placemats and cocktail mermaids. I’ve never gotten anything pierced here though, so I can’t speak to that. I did buy a couple of nose rings and navel rings here years ago, and they seem to be fine. The place has moved across the street now and has a much cuter interior, but I wish they’d start carrying clothes and more accessories again.
