This place is by far the most delicious and authentic Mexican food found in these parts. The pastor tacos and chorizo burrito are amazing — you can really tell how much they care about flavors here. The salsa bar is to die for. Plus the owner is super nice!

That’s some solid authentic Mexican food right there. Friendly staff with many sauce options and amazing taqueria style tacos that aim to please. I think I want three more for dinner!

What a wonderful experience! Street tacos full of balanced, complex flavors. Customer service so tailored & informative that I felt like I was being hosted in someone’s home. We tried the tacos cabeza, lengua, pastor & a ceviche tostada: all incredibly delicious. And the homemade salsas,(my favorite was a «fried salsa» where the peppers were fried for extra flavor and a rich creaminess), & jalapeño pickled onions, were out of this world. We plan on making many repeat visits to eat our way through the entire menu.

I really liked Tacos El Machin. They featured traditional street tacos.(I see a fellow Unilocaler was disappointed in the«small» tacos, but those are traditional street tacos, my friend!) Both my dining partner and I were delighted. Also, there is a generous salsa bar with both mild and very hot selections(be careful out there!) You can also help yourself to beans and sauteed onions. The service is friendly and great. Very clean, too. I would recommend!

Great tacos with a range of special salsas. Best in town and could compete with the best in portland. The al pastors were the best.

Tacos El Machin features traditional mexican taco truck food but with the convenience of a sit down restaurant. Great tacos for sure! I had the pastor and pollo tacos both excellent but pastor was my favorite! In addition to the great food, the service was excellent. We were well informed of the ingredients for each type of taco, as well as the contents of all their spicy sauces of which there were many. There were also some marinated onions, and radishes in case your tacos get too spicy. Fast, affordable, and freaking DELICIOUS!!!

I recently moved to this small town and both the tacos and burritos are so delicious! Coming from the bay area and eating the authentic Mexican food in the Mission(located in San Francisco), this restaurant definitely meets my tastebuds expectations. I have tried the carne asada and al pastor tacos. These food truck style tacos are small but packed with lots of flavor. You cannot go wrong with ordering them.(I would recommend al pastor over the carne asada.) The meat is very juicy and tender. Not chewy at all. However, they are a bit pricey at $ 1.99. I also tried the carne asada burrito and it was delicious and it definitely made me full. The staff working the three times I have came are always very friendly and have great hospitality. Today, my interaction was with Noël(who I found out was the owner of this great establishment). Noël went out of his way to thoroughly explain the salsa bar. I told him that I’m hesitant to try spicy salsas but he suggested which would be best for my liking while explaining how each individual salsas are prepared. There are also baked beans and some grilled onions that can top off your tacos which are in two crock pots near the salsa bar. I was very impressed with the choices. Upon entering this establishment it is pretty spacey. About 8 booths against the perimeter of the restaurants walls and 4 tables and the salsa bar in the middle. Very roomy and not clustered at all. There are two TVs against the back wall that show sports channels the three times I came to this restaurant. Food is five stars. Staffing is five stars. Restaurants ambiance five stars.

I couldn’t wait to write this review, so we are still sitting here at the restaurant. This place is AMAZING!!! The food is so fresh and full of flavor! We had the asada burrito as well as pastor and asada tacos. The food was prepared quickly and the service is top notch! The SALSAS!!! Oh the salsas! They are delicious and so distinctly different. Love love love this place! We will be back all of the time! P. S. watch out for the pickled onions! They are addicting and will make your eyes, nose, and mouth water.

We came here today specifically of the great reviews here on Unilocal. My mom ordered two tacos, they were two of the smallest tacos we have ever seen. The only toppings that come with it is Cilantro and Onion. We asked to have cheese and lettuce added which they did(for $ 0.75 per taco, which we thought was a tad steep). I had a burrito which was ok, but nothing too special. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly and hot. Overall we were a bit disappointed and ended up getting a snack an hour or two later at DQ because of the small tacos.
