Hopefully the food is better than the customer service and waitresses demeanor. Not friendly. Annoyed when my 4 yo wanted to order something else even though she was still taking our tables order.

I agree with the other reviews. This food has absolutely ZERO personality(the food tried really hard not to end up bland). It’s not bad, it’s not great. It’s also not expensive, and not really cheap. Service is friendly but not personal. Not good, not bad rating for a not good, not bad restaurant.

I have been going here since I was a kid. We’ve truly never had a bad plate here. The prices are cheap, but have been slowly climbing these last few years. Drinks are delicious and well known around here for someone’s 21st! Great authentic Mexican food. Walk away full and happy every time!

This is my go-to [American] Mexican restaurant in area, been coming here often for years. There are many excellent plates and the drinks are good most of the time, like any place you have to learn the menus to find the stuff you really like. They also have a GREAT reward program, drinks earn credit too, we get a free entrée every 3 – 5 visits. Fantastic«Skinny Margarita», by the way, with sidecar and good pour.

This is typical American, Mexican food, and that’s not what I’m looking for. please give us authentic Mexican food. The food for what it is is done OK. I was expecting more but didn’t get it

The best dish is the Los Dos Amigos Burrito by far. Perfect blend of seasoning! Come see Mauricio for fast and friendly service!

This restaurant is great. Not the best but very good for Albany. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The food is very yummy and there is endless fresh chips and salsa. I will continue to return happily!

This place is a family favorite. Never had a bad meal here. I usually get the enchilada chimichanga combo. love it. Decided to try the macho burrito today. Yummy. My husband is a big fan of the seafood burrito. The chips and salsa are da bomb!

The atmosphere was nice and festive, but the food was lackluster. The salsa that they brought out with the chips tasted a bit old and the guacamole was just… plain, nothing special, even the onions in the guac tasted less than fresh. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas(I don’t remember the official name) and the only thing I could taste was the mountain of sour cream that was scooped onto the top of my enchiladas. I also noticed that the shrimp in my enchilada were regular-sized shrimp that had been cut into 4 small pieces. This is disappointing to me. If I am going to pay nearly $ 13 for a seafood dish, I don’t want only 3 – 4 shrimp that have been cut into smaller pieces, I want the amount of shrimp that $ 13 buys. I was very disappointed with my meal. My husband just ordered a side burrito and said his was also lacking in the flavor department. There was nothing special about his food, nothing fresh, nothing spicy, nothing interesting at all. The experience itself was okay… it took the server nearly 10 minutes to take our order and another 20 for the food to actually get to us, which isn’t terrible, but also not impressive. Overall, I would not go back and I would not recommend this to a friend.

Boo!!! This place sucks. The food isn’t that great, and the margarita was pointless. The server was rude. My party had to ask for water multiple times! I wrote down no tip on my receipt and they charged two extra dollars on my card. This place is crap. Go to Lebanon and eat at Ixtapa. *** update: they refunded me my $ 2, and gave me a free meal. I ate the meal and it still wasn’t that great of food. My friend I was with also told me a server forgot to bring out one of their party of 6’s food so everyone ate but him. So the place deserves no stars.

My hubby & I tried this place tonight. He had the carne asada burrito. It was huge & tasty. I had the shredded beef flautas. They were big & the meat was tender & seasoned very nicely. The service was fantastic.

This is Mexican food? To be fair, the atmosphere is lovely and the service was good. The food — or at least, the food I ordered — was decidedly sub-par. Much of this is likely a regional thing. I’ve spent most of my life in the Southwest and am accustomed to the kind of Mexican food that would make my toes curl back in ecstasy. I admit it’s likely I need to grade the food on an «Oregon curve», much like the«Colorado curve» I use to grade most foods here in my state. Still, my experience makes me want to try other Mexican restaurants to see if I can find better. I can only hope there is good Mexican food to be found in Oregon. I ordered a combo plate with a burrito and a tamale, which came with beans and rice on the side. These sides were perfectly OK, but my entrees were lacking. The burrito was, at best, mediocre. The tamale was barely edible. Neither of these were dishes I would ever order again. The only thing I had which I truly liked was their regular(«spicy») salsa, which had a slight bite to it. When/if I return to the area, I’ll likely go there a second time and try other dishes, probably with a margarita, in order to have a wide scope of their quality. For the time being, I’m grading due to my overwhelming disappointment in what they had to offer.

Decent Mexican food. Plates came out hot. Highly recommend the chicken chimichanga. Chicken enchilada was also worth getting. Chips and salsa are free. The spicy salsa is delicious. Service was fantastic. Would definitely go here again.

One of my wife and my favorite things to do every couple of weeks is to go to the bar during happy hour(4 – 6 pm every day) — get the Chicken Quesadilla and a large Dos Equis(on tap). The chips and salsa are great… the beer is cold… and the service(thanks Juan!) is awesome.

Came here with family for the first time last summer because this was their favorite place to eat. I ordered the make your own plate with a chile relleno, steak enchilada, beans and rice… which came to $ 11.95(not bad). The food was pipping hot, the main entrees were delicious… but the sides had nearly no taste whatsoever. The beans and rice didn’t have enough flavor and it kind of ruined the whole meal. I expect a mexican eatery to have exceptional refried beans and rice but it tasted like my mom cooked it LOL! I kind of like the authentic mexican décor… its like being at a real mexican restaurant south of the border. I would come here again but I would probably get a burrito or something that didn’t consist of a lot of sides. The service was great and we were seated almost immediately. If the owner is reading this, please make the beans and rice more tasty. Thank you !

So I had fajitas from this establishment last night, and I have to admit I was totally sad when they delivered them to my table. Lets say this, if you have fajitas from somewhere at least you would want them seasoned, right? Well all I can say is my peppers and onions on my plate were still cold and raw. I am very dissatisfied to say the least. I would of gave them a 1 star, but the gentleman serving me was a beast.

This was thur first time I have eaten here and it was very good! The chicken on the enchiladas was real chicken breast, not shredded! The margaritas are to die for! Service is amazing

This place definitely has the whole appeal to middle America with wacky«Mexican» decorations. Big plus to the cacti chandeliers. I definitely wasn’t expecting much from this place when my friend scheduled dinner here, but I have to admit I was surprised. I barely missed happy hour, so no sweet deals on cocktails or free appetizers, but they did have big frosty mugs of beer so I was happy. I would opt for a beer over their margaritas as everyone who got one said they were incredibly weak. Beer is always a guarantee in terms of alcohol content, so I was happy. We definitely stood out in this establishment with 10 younger people sans kids but with strong alcohol dependencies. I’m pretty sure we were the only one’s who didn’t get the senior citizen discount and could throw a few back. So yeah, this place wasn’t exactly selling me on atmosphere, but they got me with the food. Now, realize this is nowhere near authentic Mexican food, but they actually had really good food. I got the veggie fajitas and was surprised by how flavorful they were. I think half of us got fajitas and everyone finished theirs off even though they were huge. They were just that good! So the service and atmosphere sucked, but cheap drinks and food that are pretty good make this a solid option if you’re too lazy to cook dinner. I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here though. 3.5 stars
