Tuscan Oven

Mediocre food at best, terrible customer service. I was working near this place for a couple days and went for lunch both days. Big mistake. First day i order a buff chicken salad and after almost 30 minutes of waiting, on a relatively calm day, I’m handed a chicken caesar salad. Apparently they gave my buff chicken to someone else and basically stood there staring at me with the caesar until I just took because I simply didnt have time to wait for another one.
The next day I was still craving a buff chicken salad so i order online. No issues this time except the salad wasn’t very good. Then I decide to check my credit card account online and what do I find but I WAS CHARGED TWICE THE DAY BEFORE!!! Double charged for not even getting the lunch i wanted in a reasonable amount of time. Two stars is generous for this place.

They have a lot of specialty pizzas! Their buffalo chicken pizza is amazing!

I come here frequently for lunch. They have a nice area insude to eat. Their pizza is good, my favorite is the Margherita pizza. Their pasta dinners and gyros are good as well. Although a week ago I got a beef gyro and it was burned.

Don’t waste your money here. Deep dish pizza is not deep dish. Flavorless Crap. Also, they don’t listen when you call for delivery and just put toppings on that you specifically did not ask for.

Yes, it is good pizza. A bit oily for my liking. Will be ordering again if I don’t find anything better.

Had grandpa’s ultimate deep dish with pep. Great pizza, not greasy, hot pizza and fast delivery. No problem delivering to hotel. Would recommend.

Margherita pizza… I have no words. The tomatoes alone make this my favorite that they do and I’m no vegetarian. I have to get it at least twice a month. I just finished one off and I’m already looking forward to the next.

Ordered a large cheese pizza and wings from Tuscan Oven last night and picked it up to bring home. While there my husband and I decided to try the garlic knots too. 6 garlic knots with marinara sauce for $ 2 and they are tasty! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pizza was fantastic! Their sauce, crust and cheese are top notch. We reheated the pizza the next day and it tasted even better! Their wings are also very good. We usually order from Madison’s, but Tuscan Oven might be my new favorite!!!

This place was terrible. 4 people ordered food for lunch. Not one of us was happy with our meal. One person ordered boneless wings. What he got was chicken nuggets with wing sauce. I kid you not they were chicken nuggets. How do you sell those as boneless wings. I got an Italian mix sub. As I started to eat it I noticed it tasted off. After looking closer I noticed it had Bologna on it. Who makes an Italian mix sub with Bologna?! I can’t remember what the other two people had but I do remember that they also were not happy with their meals, and we all agreed that this is the first and last time we will order from this restaurant.

I rarely, if ever, give reviews. This is the one time that I felt compelled to do so. My first time ordering they screwed up my order. Forgot my Bleu cheese and didn’t make my wings as requested. However, that cannot take away from the fact that their food is absolutely, utterly delicious!!! Best onion rings I’ve ever had!!! I will recommend them to everyone I know!!! I am a great critique by far because I am an awesome cook and love good food. So trust me, if I went this far as to write a review, you know their food is on point!!!

I have no complaints about this place. Ordered some pizza and poppers for delivery when I had no desire to face the frigid cold, and the order was delivered on time. We ordered the grandpa ultimate deep dish with half pepperoni and half meatball and it was divine! Just enough cheese and grease to satisfy any pizza craving. Plus, the crust was on-​point, and was even soft and edible the next day for leftovers. The poppers were great too! Yummy! Will definitely order from them again!

If you want the best NY style pizza around Albany. Look no further. This place is the kitties titties. Prices are a tiny bit higher than your average walk-​in pizza parlor, but worth every nickel and dime. I generally get a large cheese and a dozen wings for myself on deliver, almost never over 45 minute wait.
It arrived piping hot, with the perfect amount of cheese, sauce and seasoned bread. Wings came crispy and meaty af. These ain’t no pigeons people. I’m talking chickens on roids. Blue cheese isnt too chunky, creamy with a hint moldy goodness. Just give it a try, you’ll know what it’s about.

The décor is perfect, the people are super nice and the food is delicious. I had the Buffalo bbq pizza and the crust was the best I’ve had in a long time! The toppings were cooked just right and the flavors balanced nicely.
I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Yo, Unilocaler, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but Tuscan Oven has the best pizza in all of Menands! In all of Menands! I still think it’s the greatest! I open the debate. The pizza of Tuscan Oven is the best pizza of all time… meaning…of all time in the history of pizza, period. Tuscan Oven liberates minds with their pizza. That’s more important than liberating a few people from Albany or whatever.
People always say that you can’t please everybody. I think that’s a cop-​out. Why not attempt it? Cause Tuscan Oven has and they are succeeding.
*This review has been comprised of slightly edited Kanye West quotes, because Kanye says things in a much more profound way than I ever could, and that’s what the Tuscan Oven deserves. Their «fast» slices are really good and there is a lot of variety, but for pizza perfection order yourself a pizza pie and wait the 15 minutes.

I am SO glad someone is finally offering gluten free pizza! I asked when I called to place my order if they made the crust there and the woman advised me no, they didn’t because of possible cross contamination. SCORE! Not only do they offer gluten free pizza they have a CLUE about cross contamination! They have two choices — a thin crust 12″ pizza or a deep dish 12×17. I decided to try the thin crust first. I couldn’t wait until I got home and ended up eating a piece in the parking lot! It was SO good! The 12″ is small, enough for one hungry person and it’s a little pricey — $ 16 and change with two toppings, but I was happy! I will definitely be ordering from here again and will be trying the deep dish next time!

I made it as easy as possible for Tuscan Grill to receive a high rating. Well except for the fact that I didn’t order a standard pepperoni pizza. All I requested was a medium vegetable pizza on ‘whole grain’ crust sans the mushroom. I conveyed my request clearly to the order taker but upon arrival it was determined my crust was standard white and not their whole grain. (If you’re going to advertise that you have a speciality crust, don’t act surprised when someone orders it) They were apologetic and put a new one in right away and offered a few bucks off the tab to make it right.
The pizza itself was good, though nothing I couldn’t have made myself at home and at least I would have remembered to leave the mushrooms off.
Customer Service was Good, Pizza was a little above average but their organization is a tad lacking to say the least. It’s not surprising this is the 3^rd name in such a short time.
If they can get their stuff together, they could be a hidden gem in the area. I hope they do.
