I preface all this with, I’m from Texas and extremely picky about my Mexican food. This is an American own and American ran restaurant posing as a Mexican restaurant. The food was less than average and the prices were inflated for the quality and quality received. I had the Chicken Fajitas. The chicken was veiny and fatty. Only two tortillas were included and there was more lettuce than rice and beans included.

Good food, fast service. Coming from California originally where there’s authentic Mexican food, this is the best I have found in our small town. This is a regular stop for us.

Stopped while passing through town. Food was good, service was good. I’d definitely come back.

We eat here regularly — food is good, and service is pleasant and fast. Price is very reasonable. We get the Fajitas for Two frequently. It is large and spacious inside and have never had to wait for a table — even when they are very busy.

In a town as small as Albemarle it’s a tough deal trying to find a decent place to grab a bite. I was here for a birthday celebration and although it wouldn’t have been my first choice it was alright. The food seemed fine and I didn’t hear any complaints regarding it from our rather large group. The décor is dated and typical of any Mexican style restaurant. One of the drawbacks I noticed was the lack of a stocked bar and a bar that was awkwardly placed in the very rear of the dining area.

I’ve had lunch here about 3 times in the last 2 months. It’s good authentic Mexican with several standard choices for the less adventurous. Good chips and salsa, queso, enchiladas, and fajitas. Will eat here again when in the area!
