Located in the heart of Middle of Nowhere and conveniently across the street from a Walmart, I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I walked in.
The smell of food immediately smacked me in the face in an S&M kind of way and I immediately became their b**ch. It smelled so good that I suddenly felt myself hungrier than I was when I first walked in.
Non alcoholic beverages were served in a Mason jar, which as the waiter explained, «This is North Carolina. We invented Whiskey. Of course, we serve drinks in Mason jars!»
The food was great, my Long Island was made nice and strong, and the Southern Hospitality was as stereotypical as you see it on TV, and I mean that in a good way.
They claim to stay open until 10pm which seems to be a rare thing in this town. Seems like everywhere else is closed by 6pm.
If for some strange reason I ever end up in this area again, I’d come again.
