This place sucks. Two bad experiences! The first time I walked in and waited to pay. I noticed an employee sitting at the table closest to the register and I asked if I could get some help.(Note, no one was tending the counter.) She said, «I am on break right now.» She didn’t bother to get up and get help for us. She said it with an attitude as if she was annoyed I interrupted her break. I was stunned in silence. Then finally came out someone that could actually help with not such a great attitude himself. I thought I would give this place another chance so 6 months later we go in to see if there has been some improvement on the service. Wrong! Again no one is at the counter and took a while before someone came out to tend to us. No thank you for waiting or sorry to keep you waiting or anything. She didn’t even ask if we wanted a certain pizza like they suppose to. Both occasions we witnessed and experienced the following; dirty sticky gross floors, employees look and act like they don’t want to be there, pizza choices very limited, old pizza sitting out, nothing fresh put out, mashed potatoes looked so dry as if they been sitting out for a few days, no one asked if we wanted a pizza put out, no one took our dishes as we ate, the food tasted a day or more old. Yeah never again will we go there. I like going to Austin. We live in Albert Lea but know we get better service and better food when we go to Austin Pizza Ranch. Albert Lea P-Ranch get your act together or get out!

I will never get«pizza» from Pizza Ranch again. I promise. I was so let down with the«pizza» that I picked up from Pizza Ranch that I will never eat there again. Absolute garbage!

Never impressed when I go here. The pizza isn’t that great, service is average. Seems like the only reason we ever go here is for kids birthday parties, cause there aren’t any other options in town. I wouldn’t recommend.

We’ve been coming to this Pizza Ranch since it opened, but the quality and service have gone down hill over the last couple years. Tonight was probably the worst experience yet. The kitchen staff were a little concerning. All the guys had unkempt hair and/or beards, one even had dread locks. The cashier looked like he really didn’t even want to be there, and was even talking on his cell phone while he walked around the dining room a bit. The food wasn’t very good either. The pizzas on the buffet line had been out too long, and the peperoni pizza had pooled grease on it. The chips on the taco pizza were really stale. The broccoli cheese soup was too thick and also looked like it had been sitting too long or just heated to high. The chicken and other fried food had also either been cooked to long, or sitting too long. The chicken was a little dry, and the fried onion peels and chicken fries were definitely not fresh. The ice cream tasted kind of funny too; not spoiled, just funny. On a positive note, this pizza ranch has never had anything other than cactus bread on the line for desert, and they actually had a fruit pizza out. The server I brought our concerns to was gracious and agreed. The salad bar also seemed fresh, well stocked, and clean. If it’s lunch time, there are other pizza places in town with buffets. If you really want Pizza Ranch, go to Austin. Their store is much better. Otherwise, there are better restaurants in the area. The Mexican one down the hall is great!
