The Image Hair Salon

Hey it’s a place to get your hair done right?
Being in the mall I’m sure helps spur a lot of business for this place, and I can see why it would. Albert Lea is a small town, and there are (from what I’ve seen) four places to get your «do» done.
My partner and I stopped in here so he could get his hair trimmed up as the place he would normally go wasn’t open, and he has had it done here before. The woman who cut his hair (who apparently is the owner?) did an okay job on it… but it did not look nearly as «done» as it would have had he gone to the normal barber shop. It was a very good effort but it really seemed like she was fighting him on her technique and what SHE thought would look best on him.
All in all, it was a decently priced cut, still looked ok (he always looks good haha), but I don’t think either of us will be back unless the barber shop is closed.
I’m sure for many of the people that live in the area this place does just fine, but there’s a big difference in creative control, and completely ignoring the clients wants.
