Still the best 7 layer cake on Long Island… and Darren is a whiz at decorating your cake… best bakery around this area !!!

Great bakery cookies and great selection. Their chocolate-​chip-​on-​the-​outside cookie is my favorite cookie of all time.

Just stopped in to get a little sugary pick me up. First thing I noticed was $ 16.50 a pound for assorted cookies. Holy mother of earth that is outrageous for a pound of cookies. I know it’s New York and all but damn. That’s a mark up cause I know retail they are getting 5lbs of cookies for $ 22.00. I decided I would get the seven layer slice of cake since it did get the good review on here. Not real sure what the raving great review was about. The chocolate on top was rater hard, the sponge cake was good but the mousse layers overwhelmed it a bit. The cherry on top was dried out.
You do not get service with a smile here, it’s more of a grunt. Ladies were not friendly at all.
I threw most it away. Not even worth keeping in the fridge for a late night snack. Pass on this place unless you like paying a lot for cookies.

Saw cockroaches crawling inside the cake display glass last time I was here and haven’t been back since. Staff isn’t very friendly either.

This used to be a good bakery… Alas, this passover we bought a raspberry nut cake which was the sorriest, driest excuse for a cake we’ve ever eaten. Never again.

Absolute the best I had and my favorite is the
Black & White cookie.

This place does a fabulous seven layer cake. I love it! And their chocolate mandel bread is fantastic. Its a great treat. I love it so much I buy one and bring it to China with me so I can enjoy it there. So good. And of course the rest of their pastries are great too.

The Bakery has the best Chocolate Blackout Cakes and if you order in advance, they make an awesome Banana Crème Pie. Delicious!!!

simply put, the Ruggulach is the best in Lawn Gisland. Though, you really should buy them when they are freshly baked in the morning. I personally prefer the cinnamon raisin. Also of note are their black/​white cookies («look to the cookie»), and their linzer tarts (very buttery cookie and no skimping out on the raspberry filling… yeaaa!
