This place was awesome. Found it on Unilocal passing through. When you first walk in don’t expect to be blown away. It is very much a mom and pop shop so the décor is very«Mom’s country kitchen» The food is wonderful. I had one of the burritos with a salad and it was really really good. BADNEWS: The owner’s were a husband and wife team and her husband passed away a few months ago from cancer. Unfortunately the business has gotten the best of her and she can no longer keep the place going on her own. She is selling 20 carrots and unsure if the new owners will continue with 20 Carrots or change it to something else. I learned this by chatting with her a bit and it really saddened me that she’s lost so much in a short span. I truly hope that everything works our for her and I’m sad that such a great place will be closing.

Found this place on the GPS and soo glad we did. On our way home and after a day driving through steak country Texas, this place was a life saver. A mom and pop place, these two are just wonderfully sweet people. What I love the most is that everything is soo fresh and is made behind the counter. They had the greatest variety of options I’ve ever seen on a menu. I had the ¼ Boca Burger with cheddar with a corn salad that was to die for. The Boca burger was very moist and the bread was slightly toasted and soo warm and soft. The lemonade was fresh squeezed and a little too tart for my liking, but I added some sugar and it was fine. For dessert we had a slice of the vegan carrot cake. We LOVE our carrot cake and this one I have to say was even better than regular carrot cake. So moist and very fresh tasting, and the frosting had a hint of a lemon vest. Needless to say we were full but still managed to put it down. If you are ever in Albequerque, come here for some good vegan/veggie eats!
