Enjoying a Guinness post concert! Nice! It took waaay too long for 3 ppl to scan and then re-check id’s & let me in. It was like tonight was the first time doing that. Ever. Then again, it’s pretty busy and who knows? What if it WAS their first night working door? Strangely, in spite of the bouncers & police all over, there is a drunk guy wandering on the tiny raised stage who is trying to sing for us. Wait staff are moving well & are friendly. A friend at another table bought our table a round and we reciprocated later on. It could have been done by either server who kept checking on us all night. Music varies widely from old rock to rap to techno. DJ occasionally asks everyone to make some noise but no one is listening. People are dancing depending on the music. Bar seems to be out of a few things but they are good about handling it well. No glass was offered for my beer but it’s ok b/c tonight I didn’t want one. Crowd is everything from local homies to cowboys to trendy adults to people in their 50’s and 60’s. Good mix that you don’t usually see in a club and everyone looks to be doing their own thing and having fun. This much security presence suggests either the casino vault is hidden behind one of these couches or things may have been rough in the past. Tonight has been good and calm. As we’re leaving I spot the ice cream shop only steps away… and I wish it were open!

Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooow service! Came here to eat because there’s not much around the immediate area to eat and this hotel has about 4 different eateries. 505 Fusion has a «strick» dress code… and that means you better not be saggin’ yo pants showing yo draws. And turn that cap around, you slacker! My bud Mark and I sat at a table for over 20 minutes before the waitress came and dropped off a menu. Good thing they had TVs scattered around the entire dining area! They also had live music going on off to the left of the restaurant. All the 40+ year old groupies(2 of them… one that looked like an older Sarah Jessica Parker with huge fake boobs) were lingering them. The Southwest is 80’s paradise. They were performing covers of 80’s song after another. The newest song in the set was Smooth — Rob Thomas/Santana. I settled for the Buffalo Burger and Fries. Buffalo Burger: 4⁄5 It’s been a while since I last had a buffalo burger and this one did not disappoint! Cooked to perfection at a medium rare, it was moist and accented with a bit of BBQ sauce and an onion ring. Fries: 4⁄5 These natural cut fries were pretty spot on and contained a soft center. They were not soggy nor drenched in oil. After our order arrived, our waitress tended to our beverage needs with great frequency. All in all, I fight my conscience to grant 505 Fusion 4 stars because of the initial slow service. Every table with patrons experienced the same slow service. I hope they can step it up service because their food is certainly good enough and their prices are right.

The service was excellent. The bar is a little dark for my taste. However there food was delicious.

What a shame that this restaurant bears the area code of Albuquerque, because I wouldn’t claim it. I should have known it was not going to be good when we arrive and they have bouncers carding to get in. Yes, it doubles as a night club at night, but it’s 6pm on a Wednesday. So whatever, we go in, nothing special about the ambiance. It’s dark and it looks like a nightclub. The girls wear corsets with a guitar on them(their attempt to honor the new Hard Rock theme). I had a burger that was nervy and tasteless. Drinks were ok after I told her to go easy on the ice with my vodka/diet. Avoid this place when in Abq & at the Hard Rock casino. There are much better places to eat in Abq, don’t let the name fool you that this is what we have to offer.
