I went in to see about ordering roti skins for a party and decided to try some appetizers. All delicious, the Jamaican meat pie was too hot for me but would be great with a cooling yogurt sauce. The Jerk chicken wings were wonderfully seasoned and very tender with a great wing sauce and the codfish fritters were so delicious! I heard another couple complimenting their meal so give them some business! They have a mouth watering menu.

This totally slipped under my radar, but my dad spotted it, The place is going to have some trouble with being recessed back kinda hidden by Kinkos. But after the fantastic meal i had there, i’m all about talking them up! and hoping they become a little better known! Brightly light in the early nights of winter, we walked in and every table was set nicely with cloth table covers. The menu has a fair number of options, and they have daily specials. The special of the day was Jerk Pork, my dad got that, I got the curry goat. both came with a nice presentation, both plates came pretty quickly(probably 10 minutes or so, both brought out with covers to keep them steamy and warm. Nice presentation, we each got a cupped pile of rice, his dirty, mine white, we each got a nice mix of vegetables. was pleased to find waterchestnuts and young pees in them. but enough about the sides. The main dish was curry goat. it was so tender i almost had a hard time picking it up with my fork, and while the curry was not at all spicy hot, it was nicely spiced. and while my family’s joke is goat always comes with shrapnel.(goat sticks to the bones, so they often just saw up the bones in the meat and you pick them out when eating. mind did have 9 bones but they were not sharp, and i knew to look for them, and being as how tender the meat was, they nearly fell out! Very good, some of the best goat ive had! The jerk pork was quite good too, in its cooking it had dried out on the outside to give it a firm jerk rubbed crust, with tender pork inside, it was a little spicy but had a great mix of hot/sweet/savory in the jerk I enjoyed all the forkfulls I stole. They were very nice, answered our questions about the menu even treated us to a free little fruit tart for dessert. All in all it was an enchanting dinner, some of the best Caribbean food ive had in town, we have some really good other options here in town, but this one is different enough to not be competition, and good enough for me to suggest you Run!(dont walk) down there and try them out! they are pretty affordable to boot!

This place is interesting. I went the week they opened and I thought the décor inside was pretty cute. My fiancé and I ordered the nachos and mango habanero wings. The wait was pretty long for the food, but it came out room temperature instead of hot? I’m not sure what that was about. The wings were different than what I was expecting, it was heavily breaded and the sauce was edging on sweet rather than spicy. Nonetheless, the staff was nothing but pleasant and attentive. I think I’ll definitely give this place another try, but opt for takeout and curry instead.
