I was first introduced by my Sorority sister. I love the green Chile caramel so yummy. I am not a huge fan of popcorn but I love the green Chile and the pecan toffee popcorn. The only thing is that I wish the business was open longer hours they close at 5pm so I miss out with my work schedule.

I gained 5 lbs by just walking in the door of this place. Awesome smells and delicious popcorn! Dropped by to pick up some Christmas gifts to ship out to friends. The place was a little warm and they had the front door propped open to let the air flow through. They were all very busy popping and flavoring the corn. It was actually more fun watching them flavor the pop corn the seeing a movie. I could have watched all day.

There may be a nice popcorn/​candy place here in L.A., but it’s just not the same as Walker’s in Albuquerque.
I miss stopping in here as I did during my college student recruiting trips when I lived in New Mexico.
The popcorn is always fresh and tasty… and affordable!
Sample the red/​green chile if you dare. It’s not that spicy for me, but I love anything chile and jalapeño or to that effect… They have so many other flavors, though.

If you’re driving, do not park your vehicle in front of this business. Instead, pick a spot one half block away, at a minimum. Step out of the car, close your eyes and lift your nose to the air. Yeah, that scent is exactly what you think it is: buttery, sweet popcorn.
The first kernel I popped into my wonton jaws, the biscochito flavor, was absolute magic. If you check the ingredients you’ll know why: butter is listed before sugar, so you can bet these babies are adorned in calories. And that’s a beautiful thing. There isn’t a lot of fancy chemical engineering going on in this kitchen, it’s the real deal: butter, a tasty flavoring or two, and more butter. The website boasts some 42 flavor varieties, amaizing (buh dum bum), including cotton candy, green chile cheddar and hot cinnamon. POW.

Excellent small business with friendly staff. Popcorn is fresh and they always have a nice variety of flavors.

Was on my way to Chillz for some custard and noticed these guys in the same strip mall. We stopped in and found fresh popcorn of many flavors. I’m not sure how 600 calories fits in a 5 oz bag of popcorn but it’s the best 600 calories I’ve had in a looong time! Seriously if you’ve not taken the time stop in and indulge in some of the best candyed popcorn on this earth :)

I used to work at UNM and never got my lazy butt across the street to buy popcorn. Only now, years later, and living in Hawaii have I tasted this AMAZING green chile popcorn. My dad sent me a tiny, tiny bag (okay, just seemed way too tiny) and I demolished it! In fact, my 5^th grader, who has never eaten anything «spicy» in her life ate half of it. It was so, so delicious. I wish I could have it more often. So good!!! Try it!!!

As a child when I was given popcorn I would spend my time searching for the big round kernels; the texture, the taste, and the visual appearance made it the most appealing popcorn in the bunch. This is one of the main reasons I love Walkers Popcorn, because every bit I crunch into is the shape and texture I wish every bit of popcorn I ate could be. The taste is my second favorite part after the texture, because every little groove of popcorn is filled with flavor, it is not just offered in your ordinary flavors, but can range from plain to biscochito (SAY WHATTT!)! I love getting a tin of popcorn with cheese, cherry chocolate, and caramel (because they look like little brains!). You may be asking yourself «what would I do with a tin of popcorn?! Does anyone really need that much popcorn!?’ the answer, my friends, is shush your brain; shush it right up! What can’t you do with a tin of popcorn? Have it for family game nights, movie nights, pre-​dinner parties, snack parties, party parties, just because it’s Monday parties, I have no money parties, I’m a broke college student party, I’m hungry and I just want a snack parties! I gave you so many reasons to eat this delicious popcorn, but the one YOU choose is up to you.
Walkers can be bought at some of the local stores, but I enjoy going where the magic happens. This store is a little funky, but Mr. Walker is a pleasant guy, and all of his employees are very sweet. It’s nice to see a local business where you can interact with the magic man himself, and they’re super awesome about giving samples.
Get over here and eat some popcorn!

This one of the things I miss about living in Albuquerque. Green Chili Carmel popcorn is SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! I’m living isn South Carolina now and I gotta order some before I go crazy.

We just recently bought a home in LA and my cousin shipped a tin of Walker popcorn for Christmas. We received biscochito, red and green chili and Albuquerque style which is very spicy. Love all of them. Next time I want to ship a special gift from NM I’m calling this place!

They make everything in small batches and have a huge assortment of flavored popcorn. Do not miss the biscochito candy corn!

Drove by and saw the shop, had to stop. Everyone in the shop was friendly and gave us samples of all the tasty versions of their popcorn. We got some mixed, cheddar and caramel corn and a mix of their red and green chili caramel corn. It is the best, fresh and very tasty. We will pick some up for the trip home to Cali!

Simply the best popcorn in the world. I have this stuff shipped to me where ever I go!!! Its the best I’ve ever had.
Its owned by a really cool guy named Jim and his wife who are just the nicest folks!
