Find somewhere else to go if you can: Terribly disorganized, low-level of care. Pregnant, sat in a chilly room with a paper gown on for 45 minutes waiting for OB. Have to speak with a call-center representative about medical issues to get a message to the nurse(to ask a question of the doctor). Was sent by nurse to ER for an issue that could have been easily resolved with higher-quality in-office care. Consistently long(near-hour) waiting times for scheduled appointments. CNM spends more time looking at computer screen than at the patient. The main building offices are dirty — have to walk down a long corridor of sick patients to go to a «well visit.» No ultrasound machine in the OB offices, must be scheduled at a different visit. Feels more like a welfare clinic than a medical practice.

I was new in town with two nasty swollen insect bites, and this was the urgent care center my insurance(Cigna) told me to go to. Two hours of mostly waiting, of course, but all the staff I met were friendly + professional. The waiting room is clean + pleasant-looking, but bring your own reading material unless you want to catch up on WebMD magazines. There’s a Lovelace pharmacy on-site, which is super convenient. I got out with my antibiotics + steroid cream and felt much better the next day. Unfortunately, they’re only open 11:00 — 7:00 Mon-Fri, so where do I go on weekends + holidays?
