I set up a appointment at the shop and went in on my scheduled day. The young kid who pulled my truck into the shop crashed it into the side of the building when he was pulling it into the shop, causing damage to the side of the truck and my fender flare! I took my truck and left. I called the owner and let him know what happened. The owner met me at my house to look at it. Long story short, the damage was not too severe and my truck was able to be polished out and he ordered me a new fender flare for my truck. He also detailed my truck for free. It was a hassle to deal with but overall my truck was fixed. Could happen anywhere you go.

If I could rate ABQ Mobile Detail zero stars, I would, because one star implies that I received service, but in fact, I paid for services which were never rendered. It oughta be noted that I paid through Groupon and ended up being reimbursed(in Groupon credit, which sucks), but still, I was out over a hundred dollars for almost six months, and ABQ Mobile Detail wasted a lot of my time and effort. I bought a mobile package that included completely detailing a car, inside and out, so they would show up to a house or place of business and clean the car. I bought it as a birthday gift to my girlfriend to get her BMW cleaned. When we first contacted ABQ Mobile Detail an appointment was set up to detail my girlfriend’s car at her work, but it was almost TWO months out(so much for a birthday gift, huh?). Well, the week they were supposed to clean her car they called her and rescheduled another month out(seriously?). Then, the SAMEDAY she had the rescheduled appointment they called and said they couldn’t make it that day so we had to RESCHEDULEAGAIN. Can you see how much time and effort we had wasted so far? Well, after that last contact, we called them back repeatedly and they weren’t allowing us to schedule another appointment! The Groupon gift I bought was going to expire after six months, and near the end of that time frame, when we called ABQ Mobile Detail, they wouldn’t even answer the phone anymore, it just rang and rang until the voicemail picked up and stated that they were no longer honoring all the Groupon deals that were sold. Wow! Thanks for letting us know NOW! So, I ended up contacting Groupon, explained everything that happened, and they reimbursed me with Groupon credit. Sorry folks, that I can’t rate ABQ Mobile Detail’s quality of work, but this rating applies to my experience with them, which included a lot of wasted hassle in trying to receive service, and ultimately getting nothing but disappointment.

I don’t usually write reviews… but I felt people should be warned before they spend their money. The first time these guys were scheduled to show up, they never showed. The next time they showed up late because they went to the wrong place. They spent 3.5 hours detailing my car… and when it was done, it looked like I hadn’t had anything done. The trunk hadn’t even been opened, let alone vacuumed(which they even do for free at the car wash). The dash panels were foggy and spotty. whatever they used they didn’t wipe off and it didn’t look like anything that probably should have been used on plastic. My driver’s side window button was stuck in the«down» position… and now it only works intermittently. I never had any problems with it before they came to detail the car. They certainly didn’t «spot treat» any of the spots on my upholstery. I honestly don’t know what they did for 3.5 hours. I wrote an email to the company to explain my dissatisfaction and their response was that they were really sorry to hear that I was dissatisfied. No attempt to make it right. No offer to have my window fixed or even just to come out and do an actual detail job on my car. The people were very friendly, but if you actually want the service you paid for, go somewhere else. These guys have a lot to learn about customer service… and detailing cars, apparently.
