Advanced Movers

These guys did a fantastic job. They booked on short notice, and the owner personally came by to look over the place, give me a quote, and give recommendations on the move. He quoted me at seven hours and around nine hundred dollars for a three man team. The day of the move the team showed up on time. They knocked the whole move out in about three and a half hours, resulting in a charge of around $ 400. Not a single item was damaged. Half the price they quoted, in half the time, with nothing damaged. I’d use them again in a heart beat.

I had used this company for a move about 3 years ago, and the crew was fantastic. So… I used them again for a ‘load’ move, as I was moving out of state. Totally different experience this time! :(:(:(
2 guys in the 3 man crew arrived 30 minutes late. The lead mover took 12 – 15 phone calls while ‘working’ at my house! He was setting up work with another moving company for the afternoon, since my move was so small. (3br house, 2 living areas). They took an hour longer than several previous movers took in loading our stuff. They only used about ½ of the furniture pads that I rented from Budget (which I got at the request of Advanced Movers). The worst part is that they left several of my items unprotected!!! Come to find out, my sofa was on it’s end in the truck (no biggie) and didn’t have a pad protecting it from the bottom of the truck! My two leather recliners were also just wrapped in plastic wrap… no pads, and they were laying on their sides on the truck floor! My dark wood dining room table and chairs sustained significant scratches, chips, and one large gouge.
I recommend staying far away from Advanced Movers!
