Are bathrooms ever supposed to be out of order? Like, ever? Not temporarily closed for cleaning, but actually out of order? It wasn’t a huge issue, this place is in a strip mall and there’s another restroom right around the corner, but were I a business owner, I’d make the loo a priority. At least have a backup. Be able to say something like, «Ya know, we’re sorry, the plumbing’s messed up, but head next door to the Tot Shop, they’ll accommodate you.» That would be a lot better than just saying«Sorry, they’re closed.» Sub-par experiences can really taint a meal. I’m not sure if the sushi was anything special here, it certainly wasn’t bad, but I can’t comment on the specialty rolls because they were a little stiff on the budget, so we stuck with the New Mexico and spicy tuna standards. We also ordered chicken fried rice, which around here comes in the Teriyaki flayvah, which I personally find a tad boring. It was a weird scene, man, and a weird time to be eating, I think it was about 3pm, but we were famished. The waitress was totally legit, really accountable without hovering. I often feel as if sushi joints often lose their luster over time; part of the joy of a fish feast is the crisp, almost sanitized Japanese cultural fabric so perfectly embodied by the artful, joyful culinary creation that is sushi. This restaurant honestly felt a little worn, a tad exhausted, and it’s hard to drop fifteen bones on a roll in those confines.

We went there for dinner this week. This was our first time and will definitely be our last. There was a cockroach crawling on the wall, next thing you know it was on our table. It was so disgusting. The sushi was not good, it was warm and just not appetizing. I don’t know if the cockroach ruined my appetite. Then while we were waiting for our food these two guys that were affiliated with the restaurant start arguing and one guy told the other guy«I’m going to kick your ass.» It was very uncomfortable.

Stopped for a quick lunch at companion biz Ahh Teriyaki Bowl. It has a separate entrance but also can be entered thru the main restaurant. Ordered chicken teriyaki bowl and specified ½ usual amount of sauce. Lots of veggies and good tasting(fresh) chicken. Sauce taste and amount just right. I wish they offered brown rice. All glass doors and windows need cleaning. Peeks into kitchen were not inspiring… but will certainly return for this healthy, plentiful dish.

Im shocked this place had 4 stars. I feel bad cause its probably family own but i hve to speak the truth. Please also see my pics at take it for what it is. — had fried Philadelphia roll, the breading was soggy not crispy — had tiger fire roll. Very tastey and generous with meat — had orange chicken. The chicken and breading just fell apart. Orange sauce was like grease. — both sodas were flat — even fortune cookie was stale Recommend going to Sakura next to starbucks by defined.

The other day, I was out and about searching for something I could shove in my face as quickly as possible before I developed the hangries. Luckily, I ran across the Ahh Sushi Bar & Grill and ordered takeout – vegetable tempura and egg rolls. I learned this place changed hands about a year ago and expanded their menu. Got it home and discovered half the dipping sauce was in the bottom of the bag — minus one star. There was another container of sauce that stayed in the cup, so I wasn’t deprived. I was impressed with the food — tempura batter was light and crispy and adhered to the broccoli, mushrooms, sweet potatoes and onions. Egg rolls were big, crunchy and filled with carrots, cabbage and pork. Not bad, actually pretty good and staved off the hangries. I’ll be back to explore their other delicacies.

Great and attentive service, very good sushi, some rolls are really huge, the lobster roll was so good and big, but so messy, you’ve got to try it. The only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is the décor, they really need to invest a little bit of money to hire a decorator/interior designer and make the place more inviting.

Great food, love the people here they are awsome. Except for the hostess. She is not friendly at all. She has glasses and blonde hair! Very rude.

This is my first time coming here for sushi and I thought it was very good. I usually go to Sakura, but since it is closed on Sundays I decided to try this place. The portions are much bigger than Sakuras and the quality is comparable. They have a very wide selection of sushi and sashimi and the service was prompt and polite. The miso soup is not as flavorful as some I have tried, but the rest of the experience was very good. The prices are also a little better than Sakuras. The people here work very hard, you see them all doing all of the jobs. It seems like a well-run team. I will definitely be coming back here.

In the mood for an all time favorite– with a very new taste? Want to usher in a welcoming sense of nuance and nostalgia for lack of a concise word? Your best choice is the sexy back roll and just like when listening to the song its the only phrase I remembered or in this sense the only sushi I wanted more of. In addition to the name of the roll, the name of the establishment also added to the overall experience … Leave me saying Ahhhh sushi!

Last night I tried this place for the first time. My first impression was awful. They appeared to be under staffed and we waited over an hour for our sushi. BUT. They gave us free egg rolls for our wait. And the chef was very apologetic. Not too mention the sushi was AMAZING! I left satisfied. The only thing I would have liked to see what’s the waitresses hair up. All of them had long hair and it was down and everywhere
