This is one of my go-to grocery stores in the area(along with Sprouts on Montgomery). The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful, and it is a solid place to go for deals as well. On the deals level, there are always some pretty great deals around. One of the problems is that a lot of times there aren’t a lot of deals on healthy food. It’s a great place if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal on frozen pizza or ice cream — less so if you’re looking for a frozen vegetarian section(very sparse), or organic foods. On the staff level, I’ve found the cashiers to be some of the friendliest cashiers apart from Trader Joes. It’s always easy to get into a pleasant conversation with them. Several of them have gone out of their way to make my experience better by taking care of things that I could have done myself(putting groceries in the bag I brought when they were backed up, etc…) Overall this is a great grocery store. Friendly employees and great deals make me keep coming back here.

The grocery store overall gets 4 stars– the 2 stars is for the deli– the ladies behind the counter are rude, and honestly could careless about being here. I politely asked about deli meat, and their chicken tenders and got total attitude about my questions. Standing watching while I waited, it wasn’t just me– it was all customers. These aren’t high school or college age either– these are Middle Aged women! I am sorry you hate your job, but don’t snap at me

I frequent this Albertsons five times a week. This is the nicest Albertsons I have been to. I love the fact they have sales on their roses mostly all the time. They also have a wing bar in the deli area. I especially like the little carts even though I overfill them all the time. The customer service is great every time I go. The only time I had an issue is with the pharmacy. I was waiting in line to fill my prescriptions and one of the female pharmacists was talking with another customer about which cruises to go on. The customer had already received her prescriptions and this conversation lasted more than five minutes even though there were people waiting. Hence, the four stars. Otherwise, I like shopping here since it is very convenient to where I live which is right being the store.

I used to go every Sunday morning for groceries, but will never set foot in the store again. The staff shows no care for their customers. Repeatedly I ask them not to put raw meat with anything else, but every time, raw meat is put with fresh produce and juice. I love that they have the little carts! The deli is nice. They have good sales often.

This store location seems to be nicer than any other here in Albuquerque and they have a great chicken wing bar that is well stocked and lower prices than wing joints around town. The wing bar is located by the deli off to the right when you walk in. They have dipping sauces also. Its easy for me when I don’t feel like cooking after a long day at work. A one stop shop for beer and chicken wings.

Big, spacious, nice-looking Albertson’s with everything and the kitchen sink to purchase here. I felt a cold and sore throat coming on, and dropped 37 bucks on remedies. Of course, I didn’t HAVE to drop that much money, but they had so many options here!

First I have to say I am ashamed of my husband for even thinking of comparing this place to the shining example of food heaven that is Wegman’s. Cripes. Okay, that unpleasantness behind us — this is the best Albertson’s in town, as far as I can tell, and in a town of relatively crappy grocery stores, this one appears to the leader of the pack of scraggly mongrels. This store is Anthony Michael Hall’s character in Sixteen Candles: The Geek: I know I came on kinda like a poozer on the bus tonight and everything. But… that’s just so my friends won’t think, you know, I’m a jerk. Samantha: But they’re all pretty much jerks, though, aren’t they? The Geek: Yeah, but, the thing is, I’m kinda like the leader, you know? Kinda like the king of the dipshits. Samantha: Well, that’s pretty cool. Hey, but a lot can happen over a year. I mean, you could come back next Fall as a completely normal person. I don’t really think Albertson’s is suddenly going to become Wegman’s next fall, but at least it’s the king of the dipshits for now. Which is pretty cool. Anyway… They have a pretty good selection, including non-Albertson’s brands — something Smith’s could learn a lesson from. The recently started carrying Knudsen dairy products — YAY! They make their own guacamole, which is surprisingly tasty. Their fruits and veggies are usually pretty fresh, and the prices are okay. I often prefer getting fresh stuff at Sprouts or a farmers market, but I have no objection to getting them here. The food selection here is good, prices not bad, service is fine, store is clean, lit well and well-stocked. I like their little seasonal section in the front — it’s smaller than many stores, which is kinda nice — doesn’t detract from the real purpose of the store — groceries — but adds some fun stuff to browse through when you’re interested. They also recently started carrying Tillmook ice cream — SCORE!!! If you don’t know anything about Tillamook — it’s pretty much the best dairy on earth! Their cheese is manna from heaven, especially the black label extra sharp reserve cheddar. When we lived on the east coast, my father-in-law would mail us three-pound bricks and we would hoard it like misers — the stuff is crazy good! But now, we can get not just the cheese, but the ice cream as well! Once the rest of their products get stocked, we will be rolling around in delight!!! So get on it, Albertson’s!!! Albertson’s has lots of silly little games, like Monopoly and other such nonsense. It’s fun, but silly. I’d rather they spent their advertising dollars on actual food savings, but whatever — it must be doing something for them or they wouldn’t keep doing it. So, overall, thumbs up, but only in comparison to what’s available in this town. Up against real grocery stores, they would be a two-star at best. ABQers need to step up their demands and get a higher level of grocery store in town — revolt, people! Until then, this is the best of what we’ve got. (If it’s not, tell me and I’ll go check that out…)

This is one of the nicest Albertsons you’ll visit. An attractive floral display with a soothing water feature greets all customers. The store layout is practical and makes sense. Prices are higher than average. You should look for specials to save $.

Always clean inside. Nice staff. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it always seems to be cold inside.

This is the best Albertson’s I have found in ABQ so far. A nice exterior, and probably the best inside of all. Have you heard of Wegmans? It’s an awesome grocery store on the east coast, based in Rochester, NY. Well. If you know Wegmans, you know how awesome they are. This Albertson’s is a pale imitation of Wegmans, but is the closest things I’ve found so far. They have a great selection, a nice environment, and a wonderful staff. This is my grocery of choice for most everything general, except speciality ethnics foods and meats. You won’t be disappointed.
