10/27/2014: UPDATE: SO I COMEINTOWORKTODAYTOGET A NOTIFICATIONTHATAPPLEHASCANCELEDMYORDERONCEAGAIN!!! THANKYOUAT&T(at&t doesn’t know why, but they are not helping me to get an other one!) They have told me to contact AT&T, I called AT&T and they are telling me that sometimes the OLD unlimited data plan I have has flagged the purchase of phones recently. They try to get me to give up my UNLIMITEDDATA plan which I turn-down of course. I spoke with a CHARLESFULLBRIGHT of the RIORANCHO call center who promised me that an «OMAR» no last name, even though he’s that guys boss, would return my call tomorrow. AT&T you’ve blocked my phone when Apple was trying to ship it our Saturday, the least you can do is get me one. Seriously??? Is it this hard to purchase a phone? I’ve been on the phone with them for over 2-HOURS now, trying to see what they can do, they told me that they can re-submit the order… NOTHANKYOU, I WANTTOKEEPMYORIGINALORDERTHANKYOUVERYMUCH. I didn’t screw anything up, you guys did and now you want for me to want again??? AT&T, AREYOUREADINGTHIS??? ORIGINALPOSTONAPPLE, BUTTHISWHOLETIMEIT’S AT&T WHOSCREWEDMYPHONEPURCHASEUP. Waited in line for the launch of the Iphone 6+ I stood in line from the afternoon the day before, a representative went by counting heads and ensured me that there were only 60 or so people ahead of me so I should have no issues getting my phone. Well early that morning a large group rushed the front doors(Apple only had a few security on staff which was no match). Needless to say they couldn’t put everyone back in line properly and I found myself at least 200 persons back. I still waiting till the morning, they then started passing out tickets, TOOLATEFORTHAT, THELINEWASFALTERED! I waited till close to 10AM when I was finally notified with less than 30-people in front of me that the phones were all gone!!! I went home like a civilized person, wrote a letter to Apple, ANDOFCOURSENOREPLY, told them my story, even included a copy of my line ticket. Finally I decided to order my phone online on 9÷27÷2014, by chance today I figured I’d check the status of my order«ITHADBEENCANCELEDBYAPPLE!!!» Are you serious, not an E-mail or call… NOTHING I called and spoke with a gal by the name of Sandra who ensured me that she would do whatever it took to help me get my place back in line so I would not have to resubmit an order and wait an other 3 – 4 weeks!!! NOTHINGWASNOTEDINTHESYSTEMASTOWHYTHEORDERWASCANCELED. I OWNTHEFOLLOWINGAPPLEPRODUCTS: 1. Iphone 1(couple of those, we don’t sell our used phones). 2. Iphone2(couple of those, we don’t sell our used phones). 3. Iphone 3(couple of those, we don’t sell our used phones). 4. Iphone 4(couple of those, we don’t sell our used phones). 5 Iphone 5(3 currently in use). 6. Ipad(standard size) 7.Ipad(mini) 8. Apple computer(couple of years old now. I was disgusted by someone in line who was telling me that they were bitching an Apple operator out and they got a FREE Iphone 6… Wow, so you be patient and polite and you get pushed out of your place in line, you get pushed out of your place online and still pay retail!!! I’m very unhappy of the way I’ve been treated, never have I considered just moving to an other platform. It’s amazing how being well mannered and civilized gets you, well I guess I shouldn’t expect anything different. But in the event Apple actually reads my review I certainly will make it my business to show up at the next launch well prepared to be the first in line so I can get the interviews from all the NEWS channels and tell them about my story in a year or two when the Iphone 7 launches. Yes, I will wait for my time to come, I’m not only civilized, I’m patient too. APPLE, LET’S TAKECAREOFTHISSOYOUWON’T SEEMECOMPLAININGNEXTLAUNCH. UPDATE11/10/2014: Apple called and offered to some resolution for any difficulties on their end, knowing that AT&T was the ones ultimately responsible, they still offered to make me happy in a good-faith gesture. Thank you Apple. UPDATE: 11/10/2014: AT&T THISTHERESPONSE I RECEIVEDTODAY: I apologize for what happened with the order and the fact that you had to drive to get your phone. I wish I could have done more for you. I don’t see any issues with why the order kept getting declined by Apple. I really appreciate the feedback so we can improve. Please accept my sincere apology.
