I just called the office to make an appointment with Dr Chapman and I was informed that Dr Chapman is now retired.

I saw Dr Chapman for an ongoing skin issue. His people skills are not great, he did not do a very good job of educating me about the condition. When I returned to see him with concerns, he actually threw a tube of medication at me! I’ve worked in healthcare for years and was appalled by his arrogant behavior.

I grew up in Albuquerque and am ½ Irish and ½ Scottish. Basically I am fair, burn easily and spent much of my youth lathering my body with baby oil hoping to get that«Coppertone» Tan. Fast forward 30 years and here I am, visiting Dr. Chapman every 6 months to get irregular moles and spots cut out of my skin(hoping to avoid Melanoma). The irony is that I do not mind. Dr. Chapman is super thorough and has taught me a lot about how to ID irregular moles. I like that he does not push any cosmetic procedures. Rather, his whole goal is to keep me cancer free. He has been named one of the best dermatologists in Albuquerque by Albuquerque The Magazine and if you can get in, you will be in great hands!
