Always awesome. I recommend the peanut butter cup perfection with dark chocolate I’ve cream.

It’s been many… many moons since I’ve been to any of Cold Stone Creamery locations because, well, I’m not an ice cream person *GASP*! I’ll pretty much have a shake and that’ll be just dandy for me for a few years. Yes, seriously :)
I ended up ordering a Midnight Delight (Layers of moist Devil’s Food Cake, Fudge and Chocolate Ice Cream with Chocolate Shavings wrapped in rich Fudge Ganache) cake for a friends birthday and the process itself was insanely simple, which I LOVED! Go online to their website, pick out what you want and it’ll show you a list of the locations in which you can retrieve your sugar coma cake, then pick it up for the time frame you specified. Easy peezy! I did just that in addition to putting a custom message on it for no extra charge, which is great since some places gouge customers with a «custom charge». For real?
Anyway, I walked right in and the staff instantly acknowledged me, asked how my day was going and if I needed any help with what I was in search of. That alone stands out to me because most places around ABQ just say «Hi» with slight annoyance to the customers… so the fact that these guys showed some more personality (and effort) sticks in my mind. I told them about my cake, and just like *that*…one of the gals brought it out and had it all bagged for me. I spent literally three minutes in the place. Talk about speedy service!
Whenever the occasion arises again for an ice cream cake, I’ll definitely be hitting these guys up :)

Trying their new salted caramel fro-​yo… well, I have been waiting to taste this for a couple of weeks. Sadly it did not live up to my expectations. The caramel flavor is mild, the salt you can taste a bit more of, but the consistency is kind of like frozen milk — and it tastes like that too.
I know it is healthier than their ice cream, but on this evidence I would eat a smaller amount of the ice cream before I would try this again.
