I had eaten in Cracker Barrel in other locations in other states before. I never thought they serve breakfast and it was really good. There were several choices and finally I decided on the country regular breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and grits. The grits was very good and the rest of my meal but I liked the sizzler that I will definitely order the next time I go back to Cracker Barrel. The price is also affordable, not prohibitively pricey. It is great for large groups and families or even for individuals and couples. The place is clean, bright, and it has interesting decors. I got interested in playing the classic spokes thingy and country atmosphere. The parking us okay and I will recommend this place and will be back again.

Put me in a rocker on the front porch of any Cracker Barrel and I am right at home. The service was great, and our poor gal ran her tail off. The food was what you would expect from a Cracker Barrel, enough to make ten men fat, but oh so good. The store, which I do avoid because I do not need that much crap, but was clean and organized. As always my friend, fantastic until we meet again!

We chose cracker barrel for lunch today and ordered their fish fry special(Cod). Of course making your way into the restaurant thru the store takes you a while because there are so many cool things to see and buy that you almost forget about your hunger. Anyway, as always our server was prompt, pleasant and attentive throughout our meal so we left him a great tip for his hard work. The Cod dinner was simply awesome, the portion was huge and delicious. The breading on the fish was flaky and crunchy but not overwhelming like the breading Long John silver’s uses that is extremely salty and hard at times. The sides were equally awesome, I chose the rice which was cooked just right and the steak fries which the portion was almost too big for me to eat. Overall our good Friday lunch was great, the only complaint I have is that the portions are not always the same but when I’ve brought this to the attention of my server it’s immediately corrected. This is truly one of the great American food chains that doesn’t ever disappoint.

I Usually go to Cracker Barrel for the fish on Fridays. I will no longer be going to this location though due to bad service, greasy dried and or soggy food.

The food was mediocre and the service from Nicolita M. Was very poor. Another waiter had to come by and get our drink order. When she finally came to the table around 10 mins later she told us she was our waitress and that was the last we saw of her until she brought our check. Thank god for the other waiter he was very helpful.

Waited almost an hour for breakfast to come out and when it did, eggs were cold and looked like they were dropped on floor and put back on plate! Not sure if this is a regular thing, just really disappointed… Love the store though

Service was great but the buttermilk fried chicken was burned for 2 of our plates. French fries were over done. I love Cracker Barrel and we’ve eaten at several locations but this was blah! For a 75.00 check it could have been better. We were tired(had just driven 600 miles with 5 kids) and in a hurry to get to our destination otherwise we would have asked for another plate and they were nice enough but it should have been done right to begin with.

Dude! Cracker Barrel is awesome!!! All those that complain about the plating or the food texture or whatever the hell it is they complain about, I got a news flash for you! This is not Top Chef! It’s freakin Cracker Barrel!!! Enjoy the deliciousness!!! Food was good, I literally devoured the meatloaf in three seconds. Service was quick and friendly. The only downside to the night were the dry biscuits and corn bread, hopefully next time they’ll be better. The highlight of the evening was the SUPER delicious baked apple dumpling! Seriously you will not regret, or maybe after your belt expands you will, but trust me it’ll be worth it! MERICA!!!

I suppose Cracker Barrel is the same food wise wherever you go, you know what to expect. The only variable is the waitstaff, and at this particular Cracker Barrel they are all friendly and personable.

Great food. They got us and out pretty quick. I would’ve enjoyed a bigger container of syrup, but otherwise a good dining experience.

I feel the food is good and the value is not bad for the price. The service has always been good, our server here was very polite and helpful. My issue with this place and a Corporation is the double standard they set. In the store they like to promote and support the military yet I did not find one that gives military discount. I inquired at each one and finally I got the same answer at two different locations. I was told they only give military discounts at locations where there is a large military base. Well this location has a LARGE Air Force Base but no discount. I was told Corporate does NOTPROMOTEORENCOURAGE a military discount, it is up the GM at each location. Well all the GMs are seem to be following the same practice as Corporate, WEDONOTSUPPORTTHEMILITARYORVETERANS. Again, the food is good, the choices are plenty, accommodations for diets are taken into consideration, the prices are not bad and there are locations all over the country and the cooking style is different then your normal breakfast places, it is more of a Southern style, the home office is from Tennessee and it is nice to have a chance in cooking style without having to travel. My only issue to not supporting a place that does not support veterans or the mlitary. This si a volunteer military and more appreciation should be given to active and veterans, its a tax right off for them…

Service was below average. The waitress was nice enough, just completely overwhelmed. Coffee stayed empty for everyone at the table. Food was served lukewarm and was mediocre. I remember the gravy having at least some flavor, not today. The grits were really good and the bacon was, well, bacon. Eggs were undercooked too. The dining room and bathrooms were very clean. Not sure if that’s enough of a reason to go back.

The service was horrible and the meatloaf was burned. I asked for one kind of gravy on the mashed potatoes and got another. The waitress had to be told to refill my drink. No one cared about my complaints about how burned the meatloaf was. The whole top area was burned which made it dry and then they just poured their sauce over it. Not going back. I’ve had friendlier service and better quality food at a fast food restraunt.

The food here is extremely salty. Not to mention the sausage I ordered tasted as if it were cooked right now to the bacon. The staff is very friendly and our party of 5 was seated fairly quick. It all comes down to the food. Every meal I’ve eaten here seems as if the cooks rushed the order. The hash brown casserole could have used a couple more minutes being cooked. Next time maybe I’ll try some lunch items.

I must say that Crackle Barrel has gotten terribly bad! The gravy tasted horrible and the steak was way to salty. Never again!

C’mon a rustic country diner biscuits and gravy breakfast and seriously no sausage in the white gravy ??? okay sausage patties on the side. little mini me sausage patties burned and crispy. like a bad Jimmy Dean mini sausage gone wrong. Waitstaff obviously doesn’t have dental our waitress was whistling Dixie between missing teeth, that or meth abuse. Even small things like the butter and jam for the biscuit… ice box frozen single serving of butter doesn’t spread on flaky biscuit and single serving jam. single serving creamer. Just meh! plenty of other places here in town have better food, better service, and better atmosphere. The last time I went WAY back I’m sure it was the same, a gimmick, but it’s been forever and tried it again on a whim. Bummer breakfast should have gone to Garcia’s again this weekend.

Angela was our(bad) server. We had to ask twice for lemons for the water, and twice for preserves for the biscuits. Also, she didn’t check on us until she brought the check near the end of the meal. The food was yummy as always though. Will return, but not to that location.

I can’t say anything bad about Cracker Barrel. The feel of the vintage country store, the down-home cooking, and the friendly staff make it a trifecta worth every cent.

We tried this place for the first time and it was WOW! The best pancakes I have ever tasted in my life! Tgey even sell the pancake mix in the store for $ 5. I wish they would open one of these in Southern California.

I don’t know why I hated this place as a kid? Decided to give it another try after many years. I love it! The food is great, staff is super nice, restrooms are pretty clean, and they have really neat stuff in the gift shop. I Love all the nostalgic candies and things. Can’t wait to go back for the pancakes!(you even get get your own personal mini bottle of syrup, and it’s warm!)

Although I hadn’t been to this place in years, my hub and I stopped by for breakfast. Don’t ask me why we don’t come here often because we live close by. The service and the food were great… and plentiful! And let’s talk about the prices. Cheap! The prices are very reasonable… especially for how much food you get. You’ll easily make two meals out of one. Beware, weekend mornings are super busy. Even though the restaurant was packed, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Stop by!

This was our first ever Cracker Barrel dinning experience and I am guessing it will be our last. To start our wait was very soft spoken. Everyone got the drinks they wanted, except me. My wife repeated the same thing I got and her’s came OK. The serving size was small for what we paid and the food was a bit bland. If I were my father-in-law or my grandparents I would have been happy, but seeing how I am not I was not happy with the food or the service. I will say the place was clean and restroom was nice. I did not realize they had a store in the restaurant or is it a restaurant in a store.

Cool chain resturant. Nothing special on the menu. Décor is awesome. Made me think did they buy all their decorations from American pickers. Service was excellent. Very polite and quick with orders. I liked the store connected to the resturant, beats the cheap looking glass sovenier typical style. I didn’t buy anyting from their store but it was fun to walk around. Easy going place. Rather go here then a Denny’s or and IHOP.

Cracker Barrel was basically our first stop in New Mexico. The day before turned out to be expensive so we hadn’t been able to afford food. Translation: We were famished and would eat anything! In my brain cracker barrel is a kind of cheese. Yummy cheese. So with word association I felt good about the restaurant(even though it had nothing to do with the cheese). We were seated promptly and even though it took us forever to order our waiter was very patient and pleasant. While we waited for our food we challenged ourselves with the puzzle on the table. We failed but it was fun. I had the Sunrise Sampler and a pancake on the side. The sampler had eggs(over easy and delicious), mixed breakfast meats(I liked the bacon and ham but wasn’t crazy about the sausage), grits(not a win and I LOVE grits), hashbrowns(delicious), fried apples(yummy and just like the old school TV dinners) and a biscuit with gravy(the biscuit was great with jam and butter; I don’t like gravy). The side pancake was freaking awesome. I’m not normally a big fan of restaurant pancakes but this one was great. Perfectly crispy around the edges and fluffy the rest of the way. devoured that. You know, it’s not gourmet and it’s not even sort of fancy, but on a freaking freezing Monday morning when I hadn’t eaten in a day it was one of the best meals I’d ever had. I’d do it all over again. PS. the attached store is so much fun to peruse afterwards. Don’t skip that!

I honestly thought we were doomed to fast food for Thanksgiving dinner(we were driving cross-country in a 16-foot moving truck). Luck was on our side as a «real» restaurant was open until 10pm! I hadn’t eaten at CB since my college days, but had good memories of biscuits & gravy and the eclectic country atmosphere. The hubs and I arrived at 8:30ish and were seated right away — only 5 other tables were occupied. They did offer a traditional Thanksgiving menu, however we’re not partial to turkey, so we piece together the most delicious combo: Rib Eye Steak Macaroni n’ Cheese Breaded Fried Okra Fried Apples Baked Potatoes Biscuits n’ sausage gravy Our tummies were happily stuffed and it was the best meal we could’ve asked for on the road. Props to our waitress, Terri, for her friendliness and laughing at all my jokes.
