Denny’s

MEH… it’s ok. our waitress was cool, but it was just ok. Oh wifi sucks! They advertise it on the windows free wifi like it actually works. What a crock. The motel 6 wifi works better

The service was good but, the place is dirty the you first walk in and the ceiling tiles are half ass on And are broken ready to fall o your head. The ceiling is full of greasy dust balls. Gross!!! Black floors, sticky tables this place needs a POWER WASH!!! From the inside out.

Ok, first of all this establishment deserves every star on here! The food was honesty cooked as ordered and was so yummy! Kudos to the chefs!
The entire staff were nice and attendant. Here is what I loved, everyone was genuinely happy. Everyone worked together. The place was packed but the manger went to the back and helped the cooks. I saw that and told my husband this place is rocking because of him. Yup, sure is.
The manger was timing how long it took food to get to the tables. He was even coming around asking if we were ok. He was in the back helping. On the floor helping. So it was a no brained that the staff were all helping each other.
A leader. No stress, free flowing atmosphere. Good job guys!!! Don’t know how long you’ve been a manger but you rock! So does your staff!!!
Whoever the owner is, you got a winner! We will back! Probably tomorrow before we depart back home. Thanks

A 5 for Denny’s? Today, absolutely! The checker totally did me right by selling me the $ 25 card and then using the 20% coupon.
The checker was really smart. I hope he makes manager someday. Definitely a people person.

I know 5 stars for Denny’s may seem excessive, but I had breakfast here while on a road trip, and they had the nicest, most attentive staff I have experienced at any similar breakfast place on my trip. Service goes a long way, so if you need a quick stop off the highway, this is an exceptionally friendly one to make!

Slow service, greasy food, messy restaurant, open late. This location is the worst Denny’s I have visited. Will avoid if at all possible.

It was next to the truck stop gas station for the convenience. We ordered pot roast because of the picture. The waiter was very nice and attentive. When our dishes arrived, the roast was cold but the potatoes were very hot. We just mixed the roast with the hot potatoes and pressed them on the hot plate. We would rate the food 1 but the waiter was nice.

Food was good. Same as any Dennys.
But the service? Worst I have EVER had. It was a Wednesday night. There were two waitresses and about 6 people in the entire place. Server did not write down our order. We ordered two things; a turkey melt and a chicken avocado sandwich with no sauce.
She brought the food and walked away. Of course the sandwich had sauce on it. We were trying to get her attention, or the other girls, for over 20 minutes! One just kept disappearing into the back and the other was chatty Cathy at one table for what seemed like forever.
When one of them finally came over and we explained, I also asked for some ranch dressing on the side. She finally brought back the fixed order but forgot the ranch. Seriously? I’ve been a server before and I know it isn’t easy. But the place was empty!
The service needs work. Food is as good as any other Dennys.

Nice enough Denny’s, better than my last Denny’s experience. Only three people working, manager, waiter and one cook but the food was good and the service not outstanding but satisfactory.

I would give this Denny’s a «zero» rating if possible. 50 minute wait after ordering and still no food. Everyone seemed very friendly and we were seated immediately. However, as time ticked on, we had to repeatedly ask for more coffee and water and began to ask our waitress about our food. When we noticed people who had been seated after us finishing their meals and paying and still had not received our food, we left money on table for coffee and left. Found an amazing Golden Corral 3 miles down the road. AVOID this Denny’s!

This review is partially written for my significant other who was dining with me: We were driving back from Texas, and stopped to eat at Denny’s. he ordered a grilled cheese sandwich on Sourdough, and I ordered a sizzle bowl of broccoli, peppers, mushrooms and potatoes. I was pleasantly surprised to see something like that on the Denny’s menu, quite frankly. Being a road trip, we both took our turns in the bathroom. When he came back to the booth, he had this wierd grin. He said «I really should wait to tell you this, but that was the BLOODYIST toilet I have ever been forced to (number 2) in!
I said blood? are you crazy? He said yes. On the seat, the floor, and the stall walls. Not quite a mob killing, but close. He said it was an emergency, he hovered, and he really hopes whoever left it made it out of there ok.
On the plus side, the broccoli and potato sizzle bowl was fresh and delicious. So delicious we got another one a few more Denny’s down the road.

Let me put it this way: I ordered the chicken strips and took two back to our hotel for my dog and we both spent a lot of time feeling very uncomfortable using the bathroom. My guess is that the grease in the fryer needed to be changed (the strips were very dark in color, as well).
We ordered the pancake puppies for dessert but they brought us out ice cream with a few of them on the side instead. Okay…
It’s only getting 2 stars because the manager was friendly and they offered a 10% military discount.

Grits were soupy as all get out but still had a good flavor — pancakes were standard yummy fare.
These aren’t your thick, cakey, stacks… these are airy & a bit greasy flapjacks like all Denny’s pancakes are… it’s something you look forward to when coming to Denny’s
Buddy wanted banana for her pancakes but they had run out. To make up for it, they brought her a HUGE bowl of fresh fruit (grapes, apples & strawberries) She was happy.
SUPER BUSY! Bring your patience! There was a table of 4 who had been waiting a while (like we all had) & they were throwing a fit & being complete jerks, talking about how their waitress’ tip was going to be like a penny b/​c of all the time they had to wait
The place was filled to capacity w/​another whole queue of people waiting to get in. We all saw the poor waitress running herself to death & there was no possible way she could have worked any harder
Why enter somewhere this crowded if you’re not going to have any patience?
Yes, the restaurant could hire more staff but that wasn’t going to solve the problem that day & complaining to anyone who would listen was only creating more stress for those around you
So for good, dependable, «consistently Denny’s» food, & dealing w/​horribly rude customers with a smile, a happy 3-​stars for you!
