I haven’t stayed here but just fyi, «No Country for Old Men» was filmed here. Room 114 is where Moss (Josh Brolin) was shot by the Mexican cartel and Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) finds him. The «beer girl» was floating in the Pool when Tommy Lee Jones character showed up right after the shootout.
*for those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about, watch the movie «No Country for Old Men»
3 Stars for «Cool Factor». — I’ve never stayed here…

Good value… gross motel! We had two rooms– the first looked as though the lock had been broken on the door, and the chain was missing from the inside lock. It had holes in the ceiling, missing lights from the fixtures, missing artwork from the walls, exposed fluorescents on the wall, and a dank/smoky smell. My husband thought he had been set up with a fly-by-night room, if you know what I mean.
The second, while much better, still had a dank smell, a cockroach, and plants growing through the walls. Scary motel!
