Posted closing is 4 pm. This store closes early disappointing my daughter and friends hoping for an after school snack. If I was the owner, I’d be mad. We’ve arrived between 3:40 and 3:55 multiple times. One sign says open, the other closed, doors are locked.

We were sorely disappointed this morning when we went to Einstein’s for their seasonal pumpkin bagels. It was only 10:30 and they were already completely sold out. What is management thinking. Not only are there probably 60 more thousand people in Albuquerque because of the balloon festival, they limit the number of months of availability. I have always thought that their bagels are a bit overpriced, but was willing to pay it for the pumpkin bagels. So we went to Panera’s instead and found our pumpkin bagel and at less than half the price! Any establishment that offers seasonal items should make sure they meet the demand. Running out so early in the day is poor planning and is ridiculous. I will think twice from now on about giving my business to Einstein brothers bagels.

Waited over 30 minutes for a bagel with crème cheese. Ridiculous! The bagels are always delicious but not worth the wait!!! They weren’t even processing the orders by the order received which made the experience even more frustrating.

I love bagels. This girl in my class had a coffee mug from Einstein and always raved about them. So when I saw the joint in the ABQ I had to try them. The fresh orange juice was nice and tangy. The bagel itself was okay but I really enjoyed the lox. The cream cheese was okay and was made up by how fast service was!

Shame on you for running out of bagels on a Sunday, and Mother’s Day. Tsk tsk. You are called Einstein’s bagels right?

Bagel Bucket! I take these to clients during the week with 12 bagels and 2 smears. So tasty and great price. They also have good breakfast sandwiches. I recommend for a small office setting bc it’s afforable.

I love this place! I’m a huge bagel fan and for a «chain» restaurant it’s pretty good. It’s one of the few places where you can find Lox & bagels, and such a variety of sandwiches and other goodies. My other fav is the tasty turkey on an everything bagel. yummm! Their always fast, friendly and reasonably priced(maybe a little high, but worth it to me).

How I pine for better bagels in this town. Not that I’m complaining about Einstein’s. They’re on the better side of good. The green chile cheese bagel, coupled with a «shmear», is a great way to start a weekend morning. Many morns I’ve bought a bucket here and fed a houseful of people, and if you can hold back on the extras(yogurt & granola, fruit cups, coffee, orange juice) it’s a decent deal for the price. I’m not so thrilled with the lunch offerings; a go-to has been the Tasty Turkey bagel sandwich, but it’s a lil’ overpriced for my dollar. Coffee is better than the average shop, and during the summer they offer very good iced coffee, which is my style. Something just won’t push this place past three stars for me… Lack of personality, perhaps? While many chains succeed because of their uniform appearance and dining consistency, I don’t feel particularly comfortable at Einstein’s. A good time, but nothing great. On the better side of good.

I drove completely out of my way for a cup of their Hazelnut coffee, which was delicious but that’s pretty much all I liked about my visit. The guy at the counter was pretty rude and the high chairs were filthy. I wish more establishments took the time to clean their high chairs. The breakfast bagel I had was ok but not very filling. I probably won’t be driving out of my way anymore for them.

I had their breakfast egg white sandwich(turkey sausage, eggwhite & green chile on a green chile bagel) — the bagel was probably the best part, the green chile inside didn’t have much flavor and the egg white was a little cold. The worst thing was how«slimy» the sandwich was as whole. I am really not sure if I would order one of these again. I would take a bagel & schmear, but not one of their egg white breakfast sandos. I also took one of their pumpkin bagels & muffins to go and ate them later. The bagel had a slight hint of pumpkin, as did the muffin, unfortunately both were just a bit dry and muted in flavor. I also had a coupon for free bagel bits and took a «cup» of the pumpkin ones — these were very chewy and, again, didn’t have much pumpkin flavor and so after trying 2 or 3 of them we didn’t eat any more. I am going to try their other pumpkin bagel(walnut crunch I think). I regularly buy the bakers dozen bagels to go — with two schmears — these are great for meetings or groups and I would recommend that. I guess I would just ask that they add more pumpkin flavor to their seasonal offerings as it is very very muted.

An average place to get bagels… the smell of sour bleach overwhelmed what I hoped would be luscious bagels being toasted.

Sandwich size has decreased here. =( I still love the club mex on challah. Coffee is great and the service is very nice. The bagel selection is still bomb and its a nice change of pace from the rest of restaurants around this area. Definitely good for breakfast and lunch. Just don’t expect a huge portion.
