I bought 2 groupons not realizing they were both from the same salon(since it had 2 different salon names). When I called the number the recording started I could only schedule online. I called texted and emailed 2 weeks ahead to confirm my appt. I received a text back and then I received another text asking how I got her number? I texted back it it listed on the website where you are schedule the appts. Then I received an email as well stating the same thing and that they do not sell groupons? Very strange experience. It seems like this must be some sort of scam. I will attach the picture of the email I received from them. Hopefully groupon will no longer associate with this business.

Terrible on every level!!! Never made it to appointment. They will schedule you two weeks out, and then cancel the day before. Text response slow, if at all. I bought this for my husband. Paid for it in my name and my card. Text and scheduled it for him. They emailed that it was a scrub and wrap, I paid for a massage. Scheduled with Babbling Brook, Escape Day spa responded. When I tried to reschedule for him, they said they could ONLY talk to him. Even though I scheduled in the 1st place. Read their other reviews,(including their«hidden» reviews which they claim are great.) They are all bad!!! Buyer stay away!!! FURTHERMORE,(ANDSO I DON’T GETHARASSEDBYTHEOWNER, I WILLSAYTHISVERBATIM): I received this text: «I read your untruthful review. I will be contacting Amazon Local and Unilocal about revoking your purchase and posting rights/Please obtain a refund. We will NOT be honoring the voucher based on your behavior and insensitivity. NEEDNOTREPLY.» You’ve been warned again. Lol

I really enjoyed my time at this spa. I got a 60 minute massage and a 30 minute body scrub on Groupon. The new location on Candelaria was really hard to find and required a few unusual landmarks to discover the entrance. Navigational frustrations aside, everything else was great. The massage and scrub were both very thorough and left me feeling incredibly relaxed and calm. I started falling asleep during the very thorough foot massage. I would definitely go back and plan to do so as soon as I can.

This place is not terrible. The massage was very firm and left me sore the next day, but it felt good while I was getting it. The heated objects she puts on your back feel fabulous and keep you very warm in the cold building. The facial was a little different from prior ones I had experienced. She is able to give you tips to keep your skin young, but the extractions were a little painful and left a big mark on my nose :(Although my biggest disappointment was the manicure(which was very different from manicures I have got in the past). I got gel polish that was supposed to last 14 days and it chipped the very next morning :(My mother got plain polish and hers chipped the same evening :( This place is good for massages and she is willing to do extra things for you(like using a tool to help zap away acne during facials). Although I would not suggest getting a manicure here since it chips/peels off right away. Despite everything, she was also very willing to work with my schedule and I greatly appreciated it. Although on the downside, the building is very chilly and dark(it is only heated by space heaters and lit by 2 small lamps that emit little light). The building is being painted so some rooms are unfinished and it just doesn’t look good(being unfinished). Also cell phone use is not allowed so that is a little sad too. The vibe in the building was awkward and the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything(discussions, music, dogs barking) happening in the rooms. The waiting room felt and looked more like a living room than a spa waiting area. This is more like an in and out spa and not like a traditional day spa. This place has potential and could be better, but maybe once the renovations are done it will be improve.

So, I bought a living social deal for this place… it was all fine and dandy until they called me to cancel the day of my appointment, about twenty minutes before, as I was walking out the door. They said the girl who was supposed to see me quit at 3am? Oook… interesting. So, I had to reschedule. I only get every other Tuesday off, so this was a pretty big inconvenience. Not to mention I haven’t had a massage or any time to myself since my daughter was born 4 months ago. Flash forward two weeks: I get a text message this morning from the girl who is supposed to be doing my services, saying she isn’t feeling well and asked if I was ok still seeing her or if I was afraid of getting sick. I said I was still fine with coming in. I heard nothing back… I texted her asking if I should show up for my appointment and 45 minutes later(30 mins before my scheduled appt) she responded with, «sorry I was sleeping I have a headache now too.» I’m not going to bother going in for an appointment here as they obviously don’t value or respect anyone else’s time. They didn’t even apologize or offer anything to make up for it. Did I mention I have a 4 month old that I had to schedule care for? Many people were inconvenienced in the making of this Unilocal review… stay away.
