I was excited to try this place since it’s such an Albuquerque institution, but I was pretty underwhelmed. I went for brunch and got the steak salad, which left much to be desired, especially considering the price($ 14). The greens were wilted, the salad was underdressed(I had to ask for more dressing on the side), and the steak – while clearly good quality – was very underseasoned. Also, the salad was supposed to come with tomatoes and pickled vegetables, but there were only four or five tomato slivers on the plate and none of the veggies had much of a pickle flavor. Overall, it was just kind of bland and lifeless(and the same could be said of our server, unfortunately). I might come back to try lunch or dinner one of these days, but after this experience it’s not high on my list of places to spend my money.

Second time, no disappointments. By the glass Chenin Blanc was nice and zingy, great alone or with food. The seasonal flatbread with pecorino, cherry tomatoes and béchamel was lovely with crisp edges. The squash ravioli was finished with a quick fry, which lent the pasta a nice texture, the filling was creamy and delicate without being overwhelmingly rich, and I really liked the contrast of sautéed winter greens and mushroom topping. My companion had the trout, which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, delicate flesh, and a well balanced poblano crema with pepita garish, It also had a delicious, this time slightly vinegary, sautéed chard and radish accompaniment. The dessert was a lovely finish, orange cardamon crème brûlée with just enough crust. The plating was elegant and the service was spot on. One of my top, and possibly my first, choice for high end dining in Albuquerque.

Loved this place. We went as a family grandparents, parents, two teenagers. Treated like royalty and served some of the most delicious food ever. The bone-in pork chop killed ! We had a red wine that floored is all, but I can’t remember the name. Guess I will have to go back soon. UPDATED. Wine was Los Vencejos Malbec from Argentina 2009. So… Good…

I have been here several times and it’s not on a farm but it does have several tables. It’s a good idea to visit this cozy restaurant when it’s nice weather because sitting outside on their stone patio is quite the zen experience. When a large party came to celebrate a 30th birthday the staff was accommodating and we sat outside laughing, drinking wine, and enjoying the ambiance. The only bad part was the steak was overcooked. However, the owner came out and immediately comped the steak and sent another one that was to the diners liking. Everything else I’ve ever had here was on point. Fresh, farm fresh even! Think, they don’t bring the cow out but you feel his presence. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I once went for brunch on a Sunday and ordered the eggs Benedict. I was pumped since hearing all the cool kids say good things but it was very bland. Having said that, the ingredients are fresh and local, the service was always good, and I would recommend coming here for dinner and giving them a try. While I wasn’t too impressed, people I talk to LOVE this place and rave about it all the time.

Super tasty restaurant! The menu changes based on the season. On the winter menu, I recommend the rustic quinoa salad, seasonal flatbread, winter harvest, and pumpkin crème brûlée!

LOVED my dinner here. The setting is fantastic too. Think adobe house with a converted greenhouse and string lights. Lovely. Meal-wise, I had soup, salad, risotto, half a bottle of wine. Yes. By myself. But, however, while all the above was vegan, my most carnivorous friends would have loved it. By the way there’s something for everyone on the menu. If you are what I consider adventurous and eat quail, you can have that. As a veggie girl the flavors on my plates were more than enough. If you are in ABQ, don’t you dare look for a Pollos Hermanos. Go to Farm and Table. Oh, and service can ruin a great restaurant, but the service here is on point. If I’m ever back in ABQ, I’ll be back here.

This is one of those times I was really grateful I have set out a guideline for myself for choosing how to give stars.(In my profile photos) In this case, I was having trouble — I have only been there once, so I followed my guidelines: 4 stars is excellent food, I really liked it, I could be a regular here. All true. We were invited to brunch, and jumped at the chance. We had been wanting to try this place for four years, no idea why we never got around to it sooner, but we should have. We sat on the patio, had a delicious brunch, good times, and happiness abounded. The patio is beautiful. Greenery and fresh air, flowers, and lovely architecture. The waiter was very nice, accommodated my minor changes to the item I ordered, and kept in touch just enough without being in the way. The food was wonderful. Knowing we are leaving Albuquerque(sniff…) and this will likely be our only journey to this delightful restaurant, there was added pressure to choose the right meal. In the end, I don’t think it would have mattered what I chose — it all turned out amazing. The mimosas are poured at your table so you can control the OJ/champagne ratio — this is excellent and should be done everywhere. Reservations are a simple matter through Open Table. I had to reschedule twice and there was no problem at all. I wish we were staying so we could enjoy this place more often, but I’m glad I got to experience it once. I highly recommend you do the same!

Pros: Really good food and outdoor patio great. Patio is especially great if you have kids since if the kids get too crazy you can quickly exit the patio and take them for a walk in the garden behind the restaurant. Staff also very kid friendly — offered to keep my food warm while I left to walk the kid. Cons: Patio not open if cold. I also wish this place was open for lunch during the week.

Not bad, but I agree with some of the other Unilocalers that I’ve had equally good food at half the price. We started with the seasonal flat bread which was so spicy it was almost inedible, even to my more spice-tolerant dinner mates. I couldn’t resist the rib-eye. It was cooked to a beautiful medium-rare and had great flavor. The black garlic and beet purée were just the perfect accompaniment and really elevated the flavor without overwhelming the taste of the meat. The green beans were fresh and tender-crisp. The mashed potatoes were a bit pasty and bland, pretty underwhelming. We finished with the Apple Tarte which had a great balance of sweet, creamy and crunchy. Overall, it was a decent meal, but I expect far more than decent when the bill is over $ 200 for 3 people.

Started off with the pork belly errrrr I mean chicharrones. Was informed that they only had two steaks left so I ordered the rib eye medium and low and behold I got beef jerky. I usually like jerky but not in this setting. The location is great but they need to step it up to meet expectations. They were more concerned with the cost of burning propane with outdoor heaters than they were with providing good service and good food.

Farm & table was my favorite place to eat in New Mexico. The food is fresh and high quality. The portions are perfect and not over whelming. You don’t leave regretting eating. Everything we had was fantastic. We started with the fried green beans and the dipping sauce it came with was great! Just a little kick to it. For my meal I had the summer vegetable which were perfectly grilled. The polenta it came with was underwhelming but the veggies were perfect. My mom had the rustic quinoa salad and again the vegetable were fantastic This is a must try if you are in the area!

My favorite brunch spot with girlfriends. Always enjoyable experience and the food is tasty and delicious. The restaurant has patio and inside seating. Beautiful patio with plenty of seating for larger parties, please make a reservation or you will wait. The food is healthy and home grown. They have a nice wine selection and mimosas on Sunday for brunch.

Sunday Brunch at its finest. We were seated at the patio and enjoyed the view of the farm were they source a good amount of their produce. The coffee cake while we waited for the others to arrive was superb with fresh fruit baked in. Daily special was Breakfast Tacos, come on, who doesn’t like tacos if you are living in NM. We all split the tacos and ordered our food. The Enchilada Burger was awesome, The Atole was perfect consistency, the heirloom tomatoes salsa was sweet. Chef Carrie Eagle has a great thing going on here, hope to return for dinner with the family very soon.

We live in San Francisco and when we visited(2x a year) this was one of our favorite places to go. I liked them so much I wanted to book them for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding here in Albuquerque with my family. After weeks(WEEKS) of calling and them giving us unofficial confirmations that this would work, telling us they only needed to settle the price for a dinner for 26 people(telling us it would be along their menu prices, probably 30 – 40 a person), we finally called today(10 days until my wedding) and they told us they had met together and would charge a WHOPPING $ 120 a person! That is not a typo. I understand large parties warrant more work and cost, and we expected it, but not 3−4x the cost. Still wanting to go, we asked if we could book two tables in that case and wondered why it would be any different, one for 12 and one for 14, and they refused to do so, clearly wanting to corner us into a $ 120 a person. Waiting until it is so close to the wedding was a cheap blow, since it will be hard to book another place, and they know it. We are definitely looking into other options. I was one of their biggest fans, but I’m not sure I can continue telling people to go after this.

We hadn’t been to Farm and Table for about a year because our previous experience was only mediocre, but tonight’s dinner was fantastic. Our waiter, Wes, was attentive, and the rest is of the staff was too. And the food am was absolutely delicious! Since it was so long since or last visit, we loaded up on appetizers. The flatbread with farm fresh veggies, goat cheese and pesto was fantastic, and the cheese plate was a fun combination of three cheeses, house made Dijon and other delicious nibbles. The only disappointment of the evening was the pork belly; it has great flavor, but it was dry and nearly impossible to cut or slice. My wife had the half rack of lamb, which she truly enjoyed, and I had Duck Confit, which was an eye opening treat for me! I’d had the duck breast with cocoa powder last year and I thought that was delicious, but the Duck Confit blew it away! We indulged with two deserts, Tres Leches and The Salty Dog. While the Tres Leches was delicious, the real surprise was the Salty Dog — which was a tart with grapefruit flavor filling served with fresh grapefruit in the side. What a fantastic treat! Great food, very good service and such a pleasant environment. We’ll go back again soon! Way to step it up Farm and Table!

There is so much about Farm and Table that is good. The food is epic. I love walking out to the fields and enjoying the day. The owner is fabulous. I love that they support local art and artists too.

It started a little rough, but then it got better. There was a woman and her teenage(?) daughter who walked in the door ahead of us, said they had no reservation but could they be seated anyway? The young hostess hemmed and hawed and said noooooooo but then would look around as though she was hoping a table would suddenly be empty, then she would look at the bookings and shake her head, and then the woman would ask again pahleeeez(she was practically doing the Kindly Brontosaurus — follow link if you are curious: and the hostess would go through it all over again. In the meantime, my husband and I, who had a reservation, had to stand there and wait and wait and wait. Just tell them no nicely and bah-bye! The hostess finally left that woman talking with a server about another place she could go and walked around them to ask us how we could be helped. Like I said, it was a bad start. So she gathers up menus and starts to go outside. «You’re not seating us on the patio, are you?» I asked. She nodded yes and I told her I didn’t want to sit outside. Then she started to do the«we don’t have tables» dance that I had just witnessed. I was about to walk away when she found a table inside. I didn’t know they had primarily patio seating, or we would have specified when we made the reservation. A note for y’all reading this — let them know if you want to sit inside or out. We were given about a half dozen pieces of paper that were various menus. There was a specials menu that were both different, I guess they forgot to throw away a previous night’s. There was the regular menu. There was a drinks menu. And a different wine menu. We finally figured it out. The food was wonderful. Five star food all the way. The steaks were mouthwatering and I had to set down my fork between bites so I wouldn’t be tempted to eat too fast. They were served with a beet purée that was earthy and rich, and a mustard green mash potato — an odd shade of green but a perfect mouthful of flavor. The chicken lime soup would satisfy the pickiest eater, and the garden salad was just that — peppers and tomatoes and assorted other growing things that had been harvested that day. The wine list was anemic and the waiter didn’t seem to know much about wine. The desert list was lackluster and we ordered a cheese plate because we really weren’t ready to leave, but it wasn’t anything special. Too much toast, not enough cheese. Overall it was a great meal, with the kind of half assed service I’ve come to expect in Albuquerque. Thus, minus one star. It was incredibly expensive and I’ve had just as good food for half the price. I probably won’t go back.

What a happy place! Within minutes of entering the parking lot, I just felt happy. The restaurant was a good experience. The menu offered a great selection of brunch and lunch options., as well as plenty tasty beverages. I’ll say it was some of the best coffee I’ve had in Albuquerque. I enjoyed the pork adovada, which came with potatoes, beans, and eggs. The flavor was great! My friend had the country fried steak which she enjoyed. The waiter tempted us with pastries, which we felt we should treat ourselves to. My friend loved her brownie, while I tried the blueberry coffee cake. Neither of us liked it, and I was honest with the waiter when he came back and asked how everything was. He was kind enough to take it off of our bill. A great Albuquerque find, and worth going to at least once.

The owner«makes more money than you» and doesn’t believe in the farm to table concept. Our first visit was amazing but it all ends there. Our entire table was filled with individuals that support local products and local businesses but the owner doesn’t seem to share that philosophy. When we asked him how Farm and Table came about he told us it was something he wanted to do since they already owned the land and that his wife makes more money than our entire 8 person table. There was no passion for food or for the philosophy of farm to table, he is a clear opportunist. This was not what we expected at all. The food was hit and miss across the table. The beer was warm and took a long time to arrive. It took appetizers and desserts to fill our bellies. The service was slow and disorganized. Overall, I cannot support the attitude of the owner and and happy to tell my friends. I will never return to this place.

I’m so glad we got a gift card to try this place again. We’ve been to brunch here 2 times in 2 weeks. It really is a gorgeous place with excellent food. I love their dog, Marley and there’s a great gift shop next door. Relax on their outside, heated, and enclosed patio. Cheers!
