Fox’s Pizza Den

The pizza wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great (for me). We eat pizza and thought oh what the hell lets eat pizza and catch a movie. The ambiance is pretty familial in the sense that cartoons were on– it’s a pretty open space but it isn’t as welcoming as it could be. Back to the food, it was served timely and presentation was what could be expected of a pizza joint. But the pizza didn’t JUMP out at me in regards to overall flavor. The sub was however, very flavorfull and they use the pizza dough as the bread which was also cool use of ingredients. I was surprised the side salad was so fresh, the greens had to have just been prepped because that’s how fresh it was. My boyfriend actually loved it, overall loved. So it may have just been a me thing. I will say I was also rather surprised by the other reviews in that the «owner» replies to all negative feedback and that alone is reason to frequent. They actually value the product they are putting out and presenting to the public. Also the prices are AMAZING!

We enjoy coming here as a family, often in conjunction with a movie. Can’t beat the variety of the menu, which is sometimes a refreshing change from ABQ’s popular local pizza place up the road. They have pasta, hoagies, pizza, and a nice selection of beer. The staff has always been really friendly and food is served hot and fast, which is great when we are wanting to catch a movie. You can always order ahead and dine in and they deliver. We have been enjoying this family friendly neighborhood pizza place and trying different things on the menu. My kids wish they also sold candy for the movies.;)

Fox’s Pizza Den delivers where I work-​so on the occasions that pizza is a must, this is the place. Delivery has been quick and reliable. Delivery or not, I wouldn’t call them again if it wasn’t delicious. The pizza is good! The crust is a little crunchy on the bottom yet still chewy. The sauce is a little spicy, and there is enough to really taste it. Topping are plentiful and good. Side salads are fine-​not great-​so I skip them. Have been happy with Fox’s!

My family and I love fox’s pizza. Great food great service. Super friendly staff. Really love the wings and the pizza is awesome. We love the family environment. And we come here every chance we get.

We decided to go to Fox’s after seeing a movie at the theatre next door. We ordered cheese sticks (which was interpreted as bread with cheese on it. I meant mozzarella sticks but I’ll take the fault for that.), BBQ wings, and half cheese half Hawaiian pizza. The cheesy breadsticks looked decent. I didn’t have any though but the rest of the party ate some and didn’t complain. The BBQ wings were decent. The pizza was not my style. The Hawaiian slices had chunks of ham on them rather than sliced. The cheese slices really wasn’t good either. I didn’t care for the taste of the sauce or the crust.
This is not a place I will return as I like the pizza much better elsewhere. A representative mentioned their sauce has won many awards in Italy and I think that’s fantastic but we are not in Italy. How many awards has it won in the US? Maybe I’m not a fan of award winning sauce in Italy?
Please keep in mind all of my reviews are based upon my opinion and experience. I would not recommend Fox’s to any of my friends and family but to each their own. Good luck!

The gluten free pizza gets 2 thumbs up from us! It was not over cooked to a crisp like many gf crusts we’ve had. They also made some of their cheesy garlic bread on a gf crust for us (which I highly recommend trying) the service was great, all the way down to bringing out little fox tattoos to our kids. We will be recommending this place to friends for sure.

I’m suspicious of some of these other reviews because we picked a pie up from Fox’s Pizza Den and it just not good. The sauce had no seasoning, the crust was chewy, and the toppings were dry and gross. We took the time to go over and pick up a pizza because we figured it had to be better than Dominos, but it was worse. Too bad because we need a good takeout pizza place in this area.
It’s not NY Style or Chicago Style or even California style pizza. It’s the «we don’t care style» of pie.

This place is awesome! You need to try their hamburger pizza, its the best. This is the only place you need to get pizza from. The sauce and crust are amazing! The workers are very friendly too. Overall great place.

Excellent «mom & pop» pizza parlour. Although I did receive less than satisfying customer-​employee interaction on my first visit; Rick the owner took ownership of the situation and rectified the experience. If you are looking for 5 star quality pizza this is the place to be! I appreciate exceptional customer service and the pizza is delicious ta-​boot! Thank you.

My family and I had to find a hotel last minute in Rio Rancho because our main water line broke so we had no water for 2 days. With 4 tired and hungry kids, we decided to go to the nearest pizza joint with a decent review. We took a chance on Fox’s and man were we impressed! First the appetizers were pretty tasty. We ordered the sampler which included jalapeños poppers, mozzarella sticks and seasoned potato wedges. Kids really liked them! We also ordered the breadsticks, which were a hit. The pizzas were actually really good! The crust was nice and crispy, didn’t flop over and chewy on the inside. It just tasted right! I have one kid who is super picky about pizza and he really liked it. I also ordered a small veggie pizza for myself (the family only likes cheese pizza), and i absolutely enjoyed it. It kept its composure and never became soggy. Finally, the staff was super friendly. I spoke with the owner for a bit and he told me Fox’s is actually a chain back East. I was surprised because they have that mom and pop feel. Being pretty new to New Mexico, we were glad to hear the theater next door is the cheap kind, with $ 1 Wednesday’s. I’m confident we’ll be back to Fox’s!

This place is fantastic. Luv the pizza and hoagies. Very clean inside and the staff is always friendly. I’ve ordered in and also ‘to go’. Either way, they are awesome.

Great pizza! We got a pepperoni and green chile pizza and it was delicious. It had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce, both of which can ruin a pizza if too much or too little are used. The crust was cooked just right and everything tasted great!
