Gamestop

I love this GameStop. I pass two gamestops that are closer to my house to go to this one. yeah, they get a little busy sometime, but its retail. I don’t mind the wait because they do such a good job.
What’s that I need a Zoo Tycoon for a DS? They couldn’t find it their store but found it 20 mins away.
Is no one else in the store? Sales Associate will chat about WoW and how much its changed, and with did they have to mess with the Barrens?!?
I have known associates who will go over games with me to make sure I’m getting something my 6year old will like and be able to play, not easy when he loves Dr. Who and Merlin.
I try to hit them up when their slow, and if its busy they help me with a smile and go on to the next person. Actually scratch that, I try to go when its slow and Anders is working because even though I’m only in there was nice a month he remembers me, my mom, my kid and what we usually are looking for.
There are no words for how much I love this GameStop which still has a PC section, small but more than the damn digital downloads only sections most of them have now. Also, have you tried the one in the mall? Just cause I’m a girl doesn’t mean I don’t play games.
Not to diss Nobles but if I’m not looking at their cards they want nothing to do with me. And Best Buys its like pulling teeth to find anyone that knows anything about the games besides what written on the back of the box. And there’s never anyone on the floor tbh.

This is one of the poorer Gamestop locations, one that, frankly I only go to because it’s right next door to Noble. This branch has the same friendly and knowledgeable staff, the same occasional great deals, and the same forgiving store policies, but their selection is terrible.
Their shelves always look like they’ve been raided by a marauding contingent of Vikings. Titles are out of order, most display cases are missing, and there’s a lot of empty space. The sections for new titles fare slightly better than the sections for used ones, but not by much. The last time I went, I was looking for three major titles and I couldn’t find a single one, new or used. Very frustrating. Sometimes the stock is better, but it’s incredibly unreliable if you’re looking for something specific.
