J Rs BBQ & Seafood Too

Well well well, the new place sure looks good, food not what I wanted it to be. First I have a smoker and hands down a master at the art of pit cooked brisket pork sausage, I am a master with several first place ribbons and a trip to the Jack Daniels world championship, placed 24 of 80 teams! Here you are, hungry and wanting something close. Got the seafood platter, nothing more than a tasteless fried old Grease nothing, a waste of time and food intake, just was not good. When you are close to the ocean order seafood, when at JR’s buyer be ware. Also had the three meat combo, asked for the moist cut got the lean and dry, no taste, chicken was outstanding, and how can you go wrong with sausage. The beans were straight out of the can, the cold slaw was ok, the mashed spuds were box, out of Mac and cheese! This order was a take out live around the corner, got home no sides, ran back ok close, wtf wtf. Over all a shity excuse of a BBQ dinner have some damn pride. Rudy’s a better choice, Rubben Wood in Rio Rancho, hell Blake’s would have been better, 32.00 dollars and very unhappy, oh and skip the gummy shitty cold peach cobbler that grandma would not feed to the pigs. One thing for sure the people pack in every week end and are sure not getting their money’s worth!!!
