JcPenny you got it all wrong… I went to the store yesterday because a friend said the school polo shirts were on sale. I walk around the boy’s area for about 10 mins looking for the shirts. I was not able to locate them. I ask the sale associate for an ad she did not have it I ask for the polo shirts and she point me in the right direction. The shirts were not on sale in the store only online. She said«We are two separate stores and do not match our online prices». I had to stop and think about this for a minute. Here I am your customer at your store because of an ad and you are not willing to match your own prices. I walk around the store for a min and located another item and decided to double check that policy. This sales person said«Yes, we’ll match our online prices». Cool, I’ll go grab those other shirts. Next JcPenny’s sales associate said«No we do not match the prices online but let me double check». She called another sales associate who said«No, but let me ask my supervisor». The manager said the same thing«No, but we can order them for you from online». I have now wasted about 20 mins and interacted with 5 JcPenny employees. I went ahead and ordered them online to pick up in the store. Now another 2 to 3 JcPenny employees have to pull, package and mail my shirts to the store for me to go pick up from another JcPenny employee. Jcpenny please tell me how much it cost to interact with at least 9 of employees to get 4 polo shirts that are on sale online. I would ask you to reconsider your policy to match your online prices. Your employee’s and customer time is more value than this. #jcpenny
